Clinical:- Abdominal and gastric disorders, alcoholism, asthma, brain

affection, dentition, diarrhea, eye affection, fidgety, gastralgia,
headache, meningitis, urinary affection.

Sphere of action:- Zincum met finds its main seat of action on cerebro
spinal system, blood, digestive system.

Pathogenesis:- zincum acts on the cerebrospinal nervous system

producing a picture of cerebral depression.

Acting on digestive system it sets in an abnormal appetite with

constipation of diarrhea.

Guiding symptoms:-

- Cerebral depression nervous exhausted and defeactive vitality.

- Brain and nerve power wanting the patient is too weak to develop
exanthemata to exporate.
- There is incessant and violent fidgety feeling in feet and lower
extremities
- Always feels better in every way as soon as the menses appear.
- There is general twitching jerking and trembling all over the body.
- There is marked anaemia present.
- Hasty eating and drinking is very characteristic.
- There is great intolerance of wine even a small quantity < all the
troubles.
- Desire for food at 11 a.m. or 12 noon
- Ailments from:-
- Defective vitality under developed or suppressed exanthemata
and akin eruptions.
- Particulars:-
- Head:-
- Vertigo falling to the left when walking. Sensation of eyes drawing
together followed by nausea, vomiting.
- Forehead is cool and base of brain hot.
- Headache from wine or alcohol after talking even a small quantity.
- Bores the head into the pillow.
- There are symptoms of effusion into ventricles.
- Extremities:-
- Due to defective vitality and lack of brain and nerve power.
- There is also excessive nervous movement of feet in bed for hours
after retring
- Feet are sweaty and sore about the toes; foetid and suppressed.
- There is general > by menstrual flow.
- Convulsion:-
- Causation:- cerebral affection , paralysis of brain, effusion into
ventricles.
- The patient cries out during sleep; whole body jerks while
sleeping.
- There is automatic motion of the hands and head of one hand and
head.
- Trembling and jerking of single muscles.
- Hunger:-
- There is ravenous hunger at about 11 a.m.to 12 noon.
- Urine:-
- Can only void urine while sitting bent backwards.
- General modalities:-
- < All the symptoms are < by drinking wine, taking a small quantity
of alcohol.
- > by menstrual flow, chest symptoms are relieved by
expectoration; relief of bladder by urinating.
