Personal well-being check
¨Safety:
In order to ensure not only my physical but also my mental health, my family in Vietnam
asked me to come back to my home country since the pandemic in Europe was out of control at
that moment.
Staying with family makes me feel safer and I have someone to take care of myself,
hence I have not had any health problems so far.
¨Food & sleep + (mental) health:
When I was in the Netherlands, I usually skipped meals since I was so lazy or fatigued to
cook myself some food after a long study day. However, when living with my family, I have
gained more weight since the fridge is always filled with food, it is just like a mini-market in my
family’s fridge.
I used to sleep a lot when I have just come back home. However, after having a part-time
job, I started to sleep less, the working time and my study time are adjacent, so I don’t have
many times to sleep.
My physical and mental health is really good these days.
¨Money:
After starting my first job, I haven’t asked my parents for pocket money, although my salary is
not high, I still can use it for my daily expenses such as food, drinks, and clothing.
¨Common anxieties:
- How to balance work, sleep, and study time
- Meeting deadlines
- Upcoming exam
- Don’t know when to come back to the Netherlands.

Personal SWOT
Explanation:
- Strengths:
I found myself a hard time doing the SWOT analysis since I was not sure about my strengths.
One of the strengths that know was hard working since I could work for a super long time; I used
to work on a project for my high school for nearly 24 hours without sleep, I could not sleep if my
tasks are unfinished.
My friends said that I was a quick learner since I remember most of the things that they
explained and can implement right away.
Work well under pressure was the second strength that I realized by myself. I don’t know if it
is only or everyone seems to work faster and more effectively when meeting the deadlines.
However, I have never waited till the deadline to do everything, I usually divide my work into
small tasks and do it pieces by pieces, I have more motivation to work when dividing everything.
I am a person who is in harmony with almost everyone. Although I am not a good listener, I
still listen to my group member’s opinions and consider them. Furthermore, I am fine with doing
more jobs than others. On the other hand, working alone gives me the feeling of controlling the
4
working process since I know exactly what need to do and what I have just done and what needs
to be fixed.
- Weaknesses:
I am really easy to be distracted by outside elements such as phone, laptop, and even a bird a
just a passing bike.
Short-tempered is the weakness that I tried to reduce every day. I get mad whenever I see
something does not meet or nearly meet my expectation. Furthermore, whenever I am angry,
nothing can be done since I keep myself shut up for a long time.
My writing skill is really bad because of the lack of vocabulary and English grammar.
- Opportunities:
More responsibility is asked since I started to move to the Netherlands and live alone without
my family. I feel that I have to put more effort into studying not only for my parents but also for
myself.
HAN is an international study environment, being a student at HAN is a big opportunity
for me to know more about other countries and people who come from those countries. My
perspective has changed a lot when I had more friends from other countries.
Studying in an international college gives me a huge chance to understand more about
other countries’ cultures; how different we are when looking at the same thing, etc.
An internship in another country in my 3rd year of college is one of the most expected
things when I first came to HAN University. I can wait to work in a foreign country to collect
experience for my future job.
- Threats:
Falling exam is one of my biggest threats since it would be like a stone that could barricade
my way to reach the thing that I want.
I am not good at taking care of myself, so I usually have some common flu and being sick
over the year. I am afraid it will somehow affect my study and also my job in the future.
Studying online these days has given me a hard time to keep myself focus on lectures, I
started to have a desire to skip class and to be lazy to do homework.

Group SWOT
Explanation:
- Strengths:
Since our group started to pursue the feminine concept, more and more ideas had come
across our minds every moment.
Fun fact that all of my group members are girls, so we understand each other in many
perspectives; sometimes, we did not have to explain the idea that we had since the rest of the
group understand it right away. We did not have to spend much time explaining ideas and
concepts.
The strength of Keisha and Lina are design, they took over the design part and we were
all pleased with the outcome of our magazine. Eline is a good writer since she could write almost
10 contents in 3-4 days and her writing tone of voice was fit with the group magazine. I am a
person who has more experience in editing videos, so I took that part and wrote some articles for
the magazine, I also did the infographic.
6
- Weakness:
I have to admit that our group had poor interaction since we hardly answered each other
messages in the group chat, maybe because we live in different time zone, and it is hard for us to
schedule an online meeting.
We are people who leave everything till the end, so we had to do many things when the
deadlines come. However, we still managed everything that was done before the deadline.
We divided tasks based on each member’s strength, hence, we just left all the relevant things
from that part to one person. Therefore, we hardly ever know how other members did with their
tasks.
- Opportunities:
We are the only group that took only female as our target audience, most of the contents were
created specifically for ISB’s female students. This could be assumed as an interesting fact to
attract readers.
- Threats:
We might have fewer readers than normal magazine since our target group was only female.
Therefore, we had to fill the magazine with articles and contents which were in the need of the
female students. If our contents are not attractive enough, no one will read our magazine.
Although our magazine was basically for ISB’s female, and we chose to make it in a girly way.
However, we not only had a girly girl but also a sporty girl, etc. Somehow, it could be
understood that we limited our reach by ourselves.

Preparation for and summary of personal
meeting with teacher
- Greeting
- Briefly informing current health, study and daily life
- Some interesting things that have happened
- Questions should be asked:
• How is the pandemic in the Netherlands?
• When is the deadline of PPD portfolio?
• Who should I contact to get information about the residence permit?
After informing me about the news at our university, my coach and I started to discuss
about the residence permit relevant stuff. Although that topic was out of her reach, she helped me
a lot since she gave me the contact of the person who was in charge of that topic. Furthermore,
having a conversation with my coach helped me relax since I knew who I can talk to when I am
lost.
A funny story about my personal meeting with the teacher was my dog’s coach started to
do some weird actions and she showed me what did her dog do, it was super funny

Personal reflection on the project
The EKKL agency _ Femme magazine
Team roles:
- Keisha:
• Main tasks: designer & illustrator
• Team role: accelerator, team leader (unofficial)
Keisha was the person who always informed the other members about the week
assignments, deadlines, etc. She also did the leftover parts. She was the biggest group’s
contributor.
- Khanh:
• Main tasks: Videography, infographic & content writer.
• Team role: supporter, secretary.
I sometimes could not keep track with all the deadlines and assignments, but I always
finished and send my tasks to the group docs. I gave many ideas for the concept and also
contents of the magazine.
- Lina:
• Main tasks: Design & illustrator
• Team role: Teamworker, picture model
Lina was quite unreachable during the working process. She was sometimes late
deadlines of the group. However, she did a great job with the divided tasks.
- Eline:
• Main task: Content writer & checking
• Team role: supporter, idea contributor
Eline was also quite unreachable in the beginning. However, she started to be
more active and productive after week 3. She impressed me by writing most of
the magazine’s articles in a week.
Group dynamics:
In the beginning, lack of interaction and communication were our main problems since we
hardly ever reached the other members. The workload was not deal well. However, when the
32
presentation day was coming, everyone was super productive, we manage pretty well the
workload.
Because everything was done online so we did not have much time to have outside work
conversation, so we were not close to each other. However, we are still friends that the other
could ask for help.
Group efforts and results:
A lot of effort was put in the look of the magazine. Furthermore, we also collected and chose the
contents carefully.
Although Femme (our magazine’s name) was not chosen by the client, it was mentioned as the
magazine which had unique target audience.
Client’s feedback:
- Brave target audience choice
- The pink color was not the HAN’s signature pink
- She loved the design and the animation.
Meetings and Minutes
Peer assessment
Personal performance in the group
I was quite active in the group since I sometimes took responsibility for doing the leftover parts
or collected member’s drafts and put them together.
I usually finished my parts before the group deadlines.
Keisha and I gave a lot of ideas for the group contents.
Solving issues in the group
There was a time that Keisha and I could not contact or hardly got responses from the other
members. We solved this problem by asking them to stay after the SCRUM meeting with the
coach to discuss about the problem. After talking together, the problem was solved.
