Dear Jack:

I hope this letter finds you and your family in the best of health. This letter is intended to invite
you to my birthday party that will be held on the 5th of June at my house in Muscat, Oman. It
has been a long time since we met and this could be a good opportunity to discuss the joint
venture initiative that we had talked about over the phone last year.

The party will comprise of a small gathering of all my close friends and relatives. The cake
cutting ceremony will be at 7pm followed by dinner and karaoke in the backyard. I have a spare
room that you can reside throughout your stay here with us.

Kindly consider this invitation and let me know whether or not you will be able to make the trip.
If you will be travelling, let me know at the earliest so I can arrange the transport to and from
the airport.

Hoping to hear from your soon,

John
