Formal Letter

Dear Madam or Sir,

I am writing to you regarding a visit to your small hotel in York this
summer.
I will be travelling with a friend of mine from school. Both of us are
females are we are both seventeen years old. We are planning to visit York in the
summer.
We are planning on staying at your hotel for six nights between 8 and 14
July. I hope you will be able to tell me if you have a room available for those
dates. I would be grateful if you could inform me about your prices since I
cannot seem to find them on your website.
We have never been to York before thus we would appreciate it if you
could recommend the best way to get to the hotel using public transport.
I have started to look for different activities we could do in the city, but I
believe you are much more familiar with York therefore I would certainly be
interested in your suggested activities in the surrounding area.
