1. How does religion spread worldwide?

Religion is considered as a pathway to moral truth, social well-being, divine, and the way
to our God. There are five major religious traditions: Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and
Hinduism, that spread worldwide. In a specific country, more than one religion is present, it is
because religion spread worldwide it can be through missions abroad, missionaries who spread
the faith to other countries and teaching the word of God. Moreover, religion can also spread
through simple word of mouth, grabbing attention, attempt to convert people from one religion
to another by saying the word of God. An example of it is they get the attention of other people
with the word of God saying that the promise of God a life of peace and serenity after death if
we/you followed that faith and committed no sins.

2. What effect does religion have on economic political and social institutions?
The effect of religion can never be over-emphasized in human life because there are
many religions in the world with different beliefs and practices. Religion provides social
constructions that give meaning to the causes, reasons, and consequences (“karma”) for our
existence. It takes effect on economic, political, and social institutions. The effect on the
economy, is that each one of us has our own religion and in an economy to become healthy all
of us should require to view one another with dignity and respect regardless of what religion we
have. On the other hand, religion affect the political activities or politics because religion
influences people’s political beliefs and opinions they are being based to the norms, values or
simply the divine law which is sometimes contradict to the state law. Lastly, religion affects the
social institutions through cultural beliefs and traditions of every religion that is being practice,
major celebrations of every religion take effect in the society.

3. Is it possible that one major religion in the world would die? State your answer
comprehensively.
Religion spreads worldwide, and one specific country has more than one religion is
present. For me, it is impossible that one major religion in the world would die. With an
increasing number of people in one country, and all of them have their religion, that is why it is
impossible that one major religion will die. For instance, some people have more than one
religion it is because they got converted to another religion. And because of missions abroad,
and grabbed the attention of other people and encourage them to be part of their religion.

4. In not more than 100 words give your reaction to THE RISE OF THE ISIS.
Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is a terrorist organization that engages in brutal
violence and murderous assaults on civilians, as well as terrorist attacks that destroy priceless
infrastructures around the world. As they mention in the video, ISIS wants to revive the ancient
caliphate and expand it to encompass all Muslims and thousands of Muslims join the war mostly
because of their angry and join for religious reasons. However, some Muslims don’t want to be
part of the ISIS group. I also notice that even you have an ally with another group, there will
always a time that the two groups will become enemies of each other, just like what happen to
Al-Qaeda and Baghdadi in terms of controlling the group that led to war.
