A. Keep Walking:
Doctrine: The Church is the sacrament of the Triune God, who is her source, life
and goal.
How is the Trinity the source, life, and goal of the Church?
 The one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church is the People of God, the Body of Christ and
the Temple of the Holy Spirit. These three biblical images point to the Trinitarian
dimension of the Church. The trinity is the source, life and goal of the church with Chirst
as its center since he is the fountain of divine love, the source of all, he makes us join
ourselves with believers—specifically within a local church and Jesus brings the
Father's words to us, so we respond to his role within the Trinity by using the
Scriptures as the standard for our faith and life.

In Ephesians 4:23-24, St. Paul exhorts us to change our way of thinking and
become a new person in Christ so that we can become the “temple of the Lord”
where the Spirit dwells.

B.) JOURNAL WRITING: Guide Questions for Journaling:

1. What word, phrase, line or verse is most meaningful to you? (LECTIO) repeated,
reverent reading of the suggested biblical text.
 Ephesians 5:17 “Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord
will is” hits me the most. For me, it simply states that prayer and the wise
words of other mature believers can assist us. These tools help us better
determine specific applications of God's will to areas of our life. When we
turn from foolishness, we can focus more clearly on understanding God's
desires for our lives.

2. What is the Lord telling you in that most meaningful word, phrase, line or
verse? (MEDITATIO) entering into the truth of the text.
 The Lord tells us how to walk wisely, so that we make the precious years
that God allots to us count for His purpose and glory.
3. How have I concretely experienced this most meaningful word, phrase, line or
verse in my life? (Focus on one experience only) Talk to Jesus, the Living Word.
(ORATIO) Listen to Jesus (CONTEMPLATIO)
 Most of the things I heard and some people told me as well that God wants
to help you fulfill your dreams. But that’s backwards, because it leaves you
as the lord of your life and makes God your servant which is extremely not
right since the Bible is clear that God is the ruler and we are his servants. As
his servants, we should follow him.
4. What feelings were evoked during your time of prayer?
5. (ACTIO) is making fruitful what the Word has taught us. What does the text
want me to do?
A. Matthew 16:13-20 D. Matthew 18:21-35
B. Matthew 16: 21-27 E. Matthew 20:1-16
C. Matthew 18:15-20
