ACTIVITIES

1. Creative Synopsis
Each one will identify the different Scriptural images of the Church. You will also identify where that scriptural Images
developed and came from. Then you will relate the following Scriptural Images to the present situation of the Church
through creative synopsis.

2. Read the This Texts.

A.) Sacred Scripture: 1Pt 2:9; Heb 12:22-23- Scriptural Images
B.) Church Teaching: Vatican II’s images of the Church; PCP II’s Images of the Church;
Modern Images of the Church
Integration:
Jesus Christ, who founded the Church as His body, wills that its mission be guided by the Holy Spirit and survive in spite of
the trials. Our life journey on earth is blessed by God’s grace. Beyond the difficulties we encounter, we should give ourselves up
for Christ’s promise and presence will be the sources of our strength and endurance.

REFLECTION Go back to the final Scripture quotation from St. Peter. How true is this saying in our lives? St. Peter
tells us not to be “spiteful, deceitful, hypocritical, envious or critical…” Which of these do we find
ourselves doing most of the time? What specific work can we do to overcome this? How will God
and others know that we are trying to change our behavior.
