The perfect alignment of celestial bodies, where the earth
is between the sun and the moon. As the moon drifts
closer to the Earth’s darker shadow (Umbra), it results to a
Total Lunar Eclipse, turning the moon into a reddish hue
due to the water droplets in the atmosphere.

The end of the Lunar Eclipse, where the Earth’s

shadow is no longer blocking the moon.
Reflection:
The earth revolves around the sun, the moon also revolves
around earth. The perfect alignment of celestial bodies is a
phenomenal event. This happens during a full moon, when the
earth is between the sun and the moon. When the earth blocks the
sun rays from reaching the moon will result to have a Lunar eclipse.
As the moon passes through the darker shadow of the Earth
(Umbra) the moon becomes reddish because of the water droplets
on the atmosphere. The most interesting facts I learned is that
during lunar eclipse we can witness different phases of the moon
in just a short period of time and proving that the sun, earth and
moon is round.
