Briefly discuss how your profession can contribute to address the problems

brought about by COVID-19 or such pandemic health issues.

One of the fields that a Mechanical Engineer works is in Industrial Engineering

which is we can say that it is Manufacturing or Factory. As one of our profession is
designing and maintenance of a Manufacturing Plants. We can contribute to address
the problem brought by Covid-19 or such pandemic health issue by mass producing the
needed equipment used in Hospital or on daily basis such as (Facemask, Face shield,
PPE Equipment and/or gloves suited for this pandemic).

By mass producing such equipment we as Mechanical Engineer can support the

hospital and other front liner to use an appropriate equipment. We can design a
Manufacturing Plants that produces a vaccine since vaccine for Covid-19 is available in
market, One of the problem that may encounter in producing the vaccine is the
temperature and one of our profession is dealing with temperature from high
temperature such as Power Plant to a low temperature such as Air-Conditioner.

So, we can help to design and maintain a Manufacturing Plant that produces
such Vaccine. Also by mass producing such product we can lower the prices since it
can help to deal the over-demand of the product to make it cheap.
