In this video It shows how steam turbine in Steam Power Plant works. In this
presentation explain what you can learn about steam turbine, First he introduced all
types of power plants used worldwide such as ( Nuclear, Geothermal and Coal based
Thermal Power plant) then proceed on discussing how steam turbine works in a logical
manner. He explained parts by parts of the steam turbine from the blade to shafting
connected in generator and what is the functions of it. Also, he discussed the important
of Reheating Method and how it can affect the efficiency of the Steam Power Plant
Steam Turbine or Turbine is one of the main components of a power plant
without it such as steam/water will not be converted into mechanical energy which is
needed to generate kinetic energy into mechanical energy then connected into
generator which is mechanical energy converted into electrical energy. I would really
recommend this video in a research presentation or in a discussion particularly it is
knowledgeable for Mechanical Engineering student like me.
