As a teacher, what is your concern regarding the statutory maintenance testing and inspection
services?

Statutory maintenance testing and inspection in the school must be surely managed. Teachers
must take all reasonable measures to ensure that school premises and equipment on the premises are
safe to use. Since health and safety of the students, school staffs and visitors are primarily concerns. To
keep the school in safe condition, we teachers should identify all property related to health and safety
issues and take appropriate actions to minimize any avoidable risks.

6. Cite an example on how are you going to implement or follow the rules of periodic statutory
inspection.

Regards to periodic statutory inspection an authorized electricians must be hired yearly in the
inspection of electrical connections and wiring installed at the school. The authorized electricians can
determine the installed connection where are in good conditions or have to be replace. They also can
suggest connection that can give electrical risk.

School building and equipment should be inspected by building inspector. Building and
equipment or fixtures that are hazardous must be determined to be condemned or remove.

10. Explain the purpose of business continuity planning.

A business continuity plan (BCP) is a plan to help ensure that business processes can continue
during a time of emergency or disaster. Such emergencies or disasters might include a fire or any other
case where business is not able to occur under normal conditions. Businesses need to look at all such
potential threats and devise BCPs to ensure continued operations should the threat become a reality.

A business continuity plan involves the following:

1. Analysis of organizational threats

2. A list of the primary tasks required to keep the organization operations flowing

3. Easily located management contact information

4. Explanation of where personnel should go if there is a disastrous event

5. Information on data backups and organization site backup


15. What is the importance of LIS in educational system?

A laboratory information system (LIS) is a software system that records, manages, and stores
data for clinical laboratories. An LIS has traditionally been most adept at sending laboratory test orders
to lab instruments, tracking those orders, and then recording the results, typically to a searchable
database.

To establish accurate and reliable registries of learners and schools which will ensure availability
of data and information needed for planning and budgeting, allocation of resources and setting
operational targets to provide access to compete quality basic education, the Department of Education
(DepEd)
