Contex PU Clear Gloss Varnish

Description: Contex PU Clear Gloss Varnish is a highly durable two-component polyurethane clear varnish with
high gloss, excellent weathering and UV resistant properties.

Area of use: Interior and exterior for walls, ceilings, partitions etc.

Substrates: Wood, concrete, masonary, cement plaster, gypsum etc.

Application method: Brush/ Roller/ Airless spray / Conventional spray
Thinner (max. vol.): 08080 (5%)
Pot life: 4 hours (20°C)
Cleaning of tools: HEMPEL'S THINNER 08080
Indicated film thickness, dry: 30 microns
Indicated film thickness, wet: 65 microns

Surface condition: The surface should be stable, firm, dry and free from dust, sand, loose old paint, dirt, grease and oil.
In case of wood the moisture content should not exceed16%.
Sealing: On wood - none.
Other substrates - According to HEMPEL’S recommendation.
Remarks: Use only where application and drying can proceed at temperatures above 10°C, preferably above
15°C and relative humidity is below 70%.
Other sealer/filler types may be specified.
Drying data is given on the assumption that proper ventilation is provided.
Pack sizes: Available in 3.79L and 18L.
Shelf Life: 24 months from the month of production.
Storage and Handling: Product must be stored as per local regulations, and should be kept in dry and well ventilated location
far from heat and direct sunlight. Cans should be tightly closed after use. Mix well before use.

Safety: Handle with care. Before and during use, observe all safety labels on packaging and paint
containers, consult HEMPEL Material Safety Data Sheets and follow all local or national safety
regulations. Avoid inhalation, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and do not swallow. Take
precautions against possible risks of fire or explosions as well as protection of the environment.
Apply only in well ventilated areas.
