SURFACE PREPARATION: Remove oil and grease etc. thoroughly with suitable detergent. Remove salts and other contaminants
by high pressure fresh water cleaning. Abrasive blasting to Sa 2 (ISO 8501-1:2007).
APPLICATION CONDITIONS: The surface must be completely clean and dry at the time of application and its temperature must be
above the dew point to avoid condensation.Use only where application and curing can proceed at
temperatures above: 0C/32F
The temperature of paint itself should be 15C/59F or above. For optimal automatic spraying condition
the paint temperature should preferable be kept between: 20-25C/68-77F.
In confined spaces provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
Curing conditions: Temperature: preferably 15-40C/59-104F. Relative humidity 20-80% preferably
40-60%.
PRECEDING COAT: None or metallization, according to specification.
SUBSEQUENT COAT: None.
REMARKS:

Film thicknesses/thinning: May be specified in another film thickness than indicated depending on purpose and area of use.
Normal range is: 125-250 micron/5-10 mils. This will alter spreading rate and may influence drying time
and overcoat interval.
Curing agent: CURING AGENT 98990 : is sensitive to moisture. Store in a dry place and keep the can tightly closed
until use. Opened containers can be protected either by CO2 or silica driers.
Overcoating intervals: If the maximum over coating interval is exceeded, roughening of the surface is necessary to ensure
intercoat adhesion.
