    Commanding Officer by the AFP Reserve Command

    AFPRESCOM, QUEZON CITY

    The AFP Reserve Command welcomes the new Commanding Officer of the
    Headquarters and Headquarters Service Support Group, Camp Emilio Aguinaldo,
    Quezon City, in the person of COL ERIC C GARCHITORENA. AFP Reserve Command
    Commander, BGEN QUIRINO CALONZO, and COL VIRGILIO GARCIA, Brigade
    Commander of the 1st TAS Brigade, Camp Emilio Aguinaldo, appointed COL ERIC
    CHAN GARCHITORENA as the new Commanding Officer effective April 6, 2013.

    He was chosen to lead the group due to his exemplary and meritorious
    achievements. He received one of the most prestigious AFP awards as the Most
    Outstanding Soldier of Year last September 2011.
