ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN

INTRODUCTION

Our vision is to develop functional members who are willing to pursue campaigns against
illegal drug. In addition of this is to settle people, lead them not to use illegal drugs and the
disseminating of complexity of the subject. It's also by providing a more comprehensive idea of the
scope of Filipino Culture Education. This campaign also tends to support and rehabilitate the victims
of drug addiction/abuse in system to achieve the change in our society. Today, substance addiction
has a significant impact on society. In particular, it generates damages in terms of medication and
recovery costs, lack of productivity and increased crime.

PURPOSE

Our aim is to build a drug-free place and to make it possible we will raise awareness of the
so-called 'OPLAN SAGIP KINABUKASAN' that further focuses to instill in children the 'Saying 'No'
skills as a firm foundation for protective education. As Naguilian National High School learners with
our campaign and advocacies are to support the government in there “OPLAN TOKHANG”
movement. The purpose of the initiative is to circle the wagons and encourage people to take action
against the use of drugs.

DESCRIPTION

This 'OPLAN SAGIP KINABUKASAN' campaign can help out war drugs; to bring the anti-
drug advocacy to the children, we will conduct the ‘Kids Against Drugs’ program, a primary
prevention activity influencing the child’s attitude towards drug abuse and preventing drug abuse
among people around the world. Minimizing the usage of drugs and alcohol of the children, youth and
the adults of the 21 authority areas of the police in Benito Soliven Isabela by developing their
attitudes and abilities.

The proposed campaign intends to achieve the following specific objective within the project period
of three years.

i. Implementing drug prevention programmes in the rural and plantation areas and in
school level within the authority areas in Benito Soliven Isabela and to create a
positive change of the target groups at the end of the year 2021.

Target Groups

a) Children, youth, adults and school children and the persons who are interested.
b) Those who used to drugs & alcohol (persons in the rural and plantation areas and school
children).

The program will gather children and conduct the seminar in the school. The program will be
happening in 5-7 different schools around Benito Soliven Isabela every Saturday of August 2021 from
8:00 to 12:00 noon. With the partnership of the school related, LGU’s, and Polices.

WHEREAS, topic oriented to the participants such as:

“HOW TO SUPPRESS DRUGS USERS”

“EFFECTS AND IMPACTS THAT DRUGS GIVES US”

“REASONS WHY PEOPLE GOT ENGAGE/ADDICTED TO ILLEGAL DRUGS”

“HOW CAN YOU BE THE HOPE OF THE FATHER LAND BY DOING SMALL WAYS
BY SUPRESSING AND SUPPORTING THE GOVERNMENT TO THEIR MOVEMENT
“OPLAN TOKHANG”

WHEREAS, as of this campaign will influence one’s mind to do and say “no” to drugs when given.

WHEREAS, conductors will listen patiently, share the problems amicably, counselling, and refer for
treatment. More like, there are so many reasons which lead to drug addiction. Illiteracy, ignorance,
hereditary characteristics and social and cultural environment of the community are some of the main
reasons lead to this situation.

The estimated budget needed for the program is ranging from PHP.50,000.00 – PHP. 80,000.00.
Activity and seminar budget for all primary schools in Benito Soliven, Isabela. This includes the fare,
snacks, papers, and other related fees).
