The vision statement of Wipro Limited should be brief but should be holistic in nature. This
means that the visions statement should be complete in its description and information of what
the company desires, and how it plans to achieve its long term goals strategically. The vision
statement should be a comprehensive statement identifying the company’s core strengths, which
would enable it to achieve its futuristic goals.
Wipro's Mission
The mission statement for Wipro Limited is a public document that details the values and
strategic aims of Wipro Limited. The mission statement of Wipro Limited also identifies the
purpose of the organization existence, highlighting the services and the products it offers.
Further, the mission statement also identifies the organization’s operational goals for Wipro

Wipro, the Indian IT giant, is one of the most respected names in CSR today and
commands enormous market goodwill due to its various social initiatives. In this
article, we will talk about Wipro CSR Activities in India.
The Strategic:
We choose domains and issues to engage with that are force multipliers for social change and
sustainable development.
The Systemic: We choose to engage on systemic issues that require deep, meaningful and
challenging work. The objective is to affect systemic change at ground level over a period of
time.
The Deliberative:
Our emphasis on depth and on long term commitment implies a deliberative approach that
precludes spreading ourselves thin. By implication, this also means that we are wary of
expanding and growing our social programmes as ends in themselves. We will continue to
adhere to this approach going forward.
In Pune, Wipro Cares work with an NGO called the Door Step School to train and equip teachers
to engage with migrant children, this project is called Parivartan. Today this initiative has
reduce the dropout rate of children of migrant laborers
Healthcare CSR by Wipro:
Wipro believes that Health is a basic enabler. Most of their factories are in
underdeveloped rural areas where access to health care is remote. Their health
care projects aim to provide primary health care, and act as a catalyst in the overall
development of the community.
ArogyaJyothi:
Healthcare is generally identified by the services it renders. Usually, general health
awareness levels and behavior patterns are intrinsically linked to attaining good
health. Most often, the Government and NGOs focus more on maternal-child
wellness measures and services and not on imparting knowledge and understanding
about good health and hygiene practices. The ArogyaJyothi project aims to assess
and raise healthcare awareness and bring about positive changes. The key focus area
of the project is to bridge the gap of lack of preventive healthcare knowledge among
the rural children. This is undertaken by visiting schools and educating children
about various aspects of health and hygiene and equipping them with knowledge
that can help prevent diseases.
