A computer is made up
of different parts. These parts
work together to do their specific
tasks. These parts are called
“devices”

KEYBOARD
- looks like a typewriter.
- It has many buttons.
- the buttons on a keyboard are called “keys”
- you use the keyboard to type letters,
numbers, and symbols
MOUSE
- it allows you to control the movement of
an on-screen pointer.
- when you move the mouse, the cursor will
also move.
- you can use the mouse to tell the
computer what to do.

JOYSTICK
- is often used in playing computer
games.
DIGITAL CAMERA
- lets you take pictures.

- looks like a television.
- you can see the work you have done on
your monitor
PRINTER
- Is a device that prints on paper the work
you did on the computer.

– are devices that make you hear sounds
from the computer.

HARD DISK
- is inside the cpu box
- it can stored huge amount of data.
DISKETTE
- can store a limited amount of data.
Because it is handy , it can be used in
different computers. The Diskette fits into a
slot called a “DISK DRIVE”
- it is also called “FLOPPY DISKS”

A computer is an electronic
machine. It use electricity to work.
