$ 9,611,992.00 Cobargo Community Development Revitalise the Cobargo CBD Bushfires decimated Cobargo’s main street, critically impacting the economic sustainability and resilience of the village and surrounding area. (Eastern and Western projects combined funding) This multi-faceted project includes the repair and replacement of damaged buildings, such as the post office and market hall, and construction of new infrastructure, including a Village Square building to house the accredited Cobargo Regional Tourist Information Centre; Main Street Upgrades; an innovative co-working facility and a professional wellness hub. $ 9,794,916.00 Land Managers Bega Showground Create the Bega Showground Community Centre This project will create the Bega Showground Community Centre, offering the community a compliant, accessible and inclusive evacuation centre with modern amenities and air conditioning. The two-level facility will replace out dated buildings and provide a space for meetings, concerts, indoor sports, and community events. This project also includes the installation of air conditioning, as well as various fire suppression and technical upgrades, at the adjacent heritage-listed Main Pavilion. $ 1,048,399.00 South Coast Health and Sustainability Alliance Tilba Halls Future Resilience Project The Tilba Halls Future Resilience Project will provide upgrades to heritage listed community owned halls. The project scope includes repairs, multi-purpose usage additions, health and safety requirements, accessibility, fire safety, and more resilient electricity infrastructure for future extreme weather events. This will ensure that the halls meet contemporary needs and continue to support community wellbeing and resilience into the future. $ 5,000,000.00 Eurobodalla Shire Council Complete stage two of the Mogo Adventure Trails Hub This project will fund the final stage of the construction of the Mogo Adventure Trails Hub network in the Mogo/Deep Creek Dam area. This will establish the region as a national premier adventure trail destination with a focus on mountain biking. The final stage involves constructing extensive new trails; a toilet block; water stations; and a picnic area. This stage will complete the extension from the south side of Mogo, providing the 'hero' element of the Mt Wandera trail, which covers over 70km from the mountain summit to the sea. $ 230,000.00 Mogo Village Business Chamber Ltd Phoenix Community Wellbeing Program The Phoenix Community Wellbeing Program will empower the Greater Mogo community with powerful tools to boost resilience. This will empower the community to adapt to their current and future hardships, with the project producing a book with inspiring, true stories of their recovery from the ashes. The book will be a source of pride and inspiration. $ 4,524,317.00 Eden Community Access Centre Inc Develop the Eden Mountain Bike Hub The Eden Mountain Bike Hub will combat the seasonal nature of the local tourism sector by leveraging the natural attributes of the local area, including the Nullica State Forest. This project will fund the trailhead (including amenities, signposts and other infrastructure) and up to 60km of mountain biking trails. $ 7,276,190.00 Narooma School of Arts & Soldiers' War Memorial Hall Inc. Construct the Narooma Arts and Community Centre This project will fund construction of the Narooma Arts & Community Centre (NACC), which will enhance the School of Arts precinct, creating an inspiring cultural and community hub. The NACC Project will support the community’s ongoing social recovery and stimulate economic growth, particularly through job creation and cultural tourism. It will strengthen the community’s ability to cope with future disasters and challenges and provide a backup evacuation centre during natural disasters. $ 998,522.00 The Family Place Inc ReGrowth: Connect, Create, Perform ReGrowth is a series of community devised performing arts workshops and public performances that will be held at significant locations, facilitating healing and recovery for young people in the Bega Valley and Eurobodalla LGAs. Participants will be supported by skilled, trauma-informed youth and family workers and performing artists. The healing process and the performances will be digitised and made into a documentary, culminating in a festivalstyle celebration and screening. $ 336,317.00 Four Winds Concerts Inc Improve the Four Winds cultural precinct in Barragga Bay, Bermagui This project will improve the resilience of an invaluable cultural precinct, Four Winds. Four Winds is an internationally acclaimed arts/music organisation that provides significant economic, cultural, social, and environmental benefits to the region. The project will involve the installation of sprinkler systems, smoke systems, and solar panels that can be used in the event of power outages, the replacement of water tanks and upgrades to improve access to the precinct. $ 4,896,425.00 Cobargo Bushfire Resilience Centre Inc. Create the Cobargo Bushfire Resilience Centre This project will fund construction of the Cobargo Bushfire Resilience Centre (‘The Centre’), a state-of-the-art facility including an exhibition space, a commemorative courtyard, a theatrette, and an upstairs function space. The Centre aims to support community healing and create a tourist destination for the region. $ 1,730,515.00 PlayAbility Incorporated Establish a Playability inclusion hub This project will develop an accessible, inclusive, and culturally sensitive play and support hub for local children, particularly Aboriginal children and those living with disabilities. The hub will connect families with diverse and complex needs to a multidisciplinary team of professionals in a single location. $ 476,252.00 Bermagui Preschool Cooperative Society Ltd Bermagui Preschool Therapy and Counselling Room Project This project will create a Therapy and Counselling Room and upgrade some of the existing facilities and outdoor areas to support improved delivery of mental health and well-being programs. This will include 1:1 trauma and resilience counselling for children, families and educators, parent/ family workshops for networking and strengthening parenting skills and Preschool meetings to facilitate strong service delivery. The project will offer the opportunity to engage in professional and targeted mental health support that will improve the mental health and well-being outcomes for our community. $ 947,803.00 The Crossing Land Education Centre Community led recovery and regeneration education hub for South East NSW This project will establish a hub for collaborative and community led recovery and regeneration in South East NSW, based at the Crossing Land Education Centre, Bermagui. The project will deliver fire-safety improvements at The Crossing Community Hall and Expand the 'Badja Fire Edge Roads Gatherings'. It will also host a Regenerative Community Leadership program and host an Aboriginal team for habitat survey and koala country rehabilitation between Gulaga and Mumbulla Mountains and the escarpment. $ 383,133.00 Marymead Regenerate: NSW family and relationship counselling 'Regenerate' will provide early intervention mental health support to children and young people aged 8-12 in Eurobodalla through flexible, holistic outreach counselling provided by two fulltime clinicians. By using a proven model including counselling, family support, group work, external referrals, and case coordination, the service will support children and their families to address the challenges they are facing as a result of the 2019-20 bushfires. $ 461,625.00 Lions Club of Tathra Inc. Tathra safer pathways project This project will upgrade 2.5 kilometres of pathways in Tathra, replace the pedestrian footbridge to the Surf Club, and install solar lighting along the route. Two designated neighbourhood safe places are accessed via these paths. $ 450,000.00 Bega Valley Shire Council Upgrade Barclay Street Sportsground This project will support the usability of Barclay Street Sportsground for the local community by improving the accessibility and emergency preparedness of this key local infrastructure. $ 426,015.00 Bega Valley Shire Council Upgrade Bermagui Indoor Sports Stadium This project will deliver multiple upgrades for the Bermagui Indoor Sports Stadium. It will repair the roof, windows, and basketball backboard, kitchen, canteen, changerooms, and toilets, and reseal the stadium floor to enhance it as a community space. $ 600,000.00 Bega Valley Shire Council Bega Valley Shire tourism support program This project will increase the attractiveness of the Sapphire Coast as a tourist destination through improved marketing and promotion. It will deliver a support program for the development of high-end tourist experiences, and encourage collaboration, mentoring, and networking among stakeholders. $ 300,000.00 Bega Valley Shire Council Support small businesses in the Bega Valley The project will support recovering small businesses and encourage new businesses in the Bega Valley. It will hire a Business Support Officer and an Industry Development Officer to build support for local businesses, deliver training programs, and encourage job creation. $ 766,983.00 Bega Local Aboriginal Land Council Create Bega Aboriginal Community multipurpose workshop The Bega Aboriginal Community multipurpose workshop will support Aboriginal land management programs. It will serve as a venue for community meetings and cultural workshops. It will also provide storage for emergency equipment and disaster relief supplies. An attached training venue will provide rental income. $ 3,914,356.00 Narooma Mountain Bike Club Inc Construction of the Narooma Mountain Bike Trails Hub This project will construct up to 50km of mountain bike trails and a trailhead as part of the Narooma Mountain Bike Trails Hub. This will expand on 30km of existing trails, leveraging the region’s natural beauty and tourism assets. The trails will form a key hub of the South Coast regional network of trails, boosting the regions tourism appeal. $ 2,071,465.00 Campbell Page Limited EcoCrews in Eurobodalla and the Bega Valley This project will see EcoCrews undertake a range of bushfire recovery activities in collaboration with the Eurobodalla and Bega Valley Shire Councils, as well as the Stepping Stone Farm. Crew members will complete units in land conservation and management, supported by mentoring and supervision. EcoProject activities will contribute to the physical recovery of the area through re-vegetation, planting, weeding, erosion control, and landscaping. $ 2,078,769.00 Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council Reconstruct the Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council Office This project will reconstruct the Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council Office, adding a gallery and café. Improvements will include an exhibition space, offices, conference rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and outdoor landscaping. This enabling infrastructure will establish an anchor for the community contributing to the social development and economic recovery of Mogo. $ 3,268,818.00 Wagonga Local Aboriginal Land Council Muliyaan Cultural and Wildlife Centre This project will establish Muliyaan Cultural Centre, which will be a repository for cultural objects and information, an education and training centre, and a tourism hub.
