Week 1 ( Activity )

2. Reflect your own experiences according to the stages.

 Silent / Receptive
At this stage I only heard my aunt speak in English without understanding
it. This is because, at that time I did not know many English words. All I
knew was the word 'me and you'. Therefore, I was often silent when they
talked. I also often look up the dictionary but never go into it because
there is no strong impulse.

 Early production
At this point, I can already know and add to the knowledge of words in
English. For example, the name of the color and the name of the limbs.
This is because, I often repeat the word while studying. My teacher also
often teaches us by using singing techniques , it can strengthen my
memory.

 Speech Emergence
At this point, I was already exposed to English words and pronunciation
correctly. I also learned to read and write simple sentences and focused
on the simple law of English. My teacher also often told stories in English
with clear pronunciation.

 Intermediate Fluency
At this point, I was already exposed to English words and pronunciation
correctly. I also learned to read and write simple sentences and focused
on the simple law of English. My teacher also often told stories in English
with clear pronunciation.

 Advanced fluency
At this stage, I can already speak and write in English. For example,
writing essays, making sentences. Although it is a bit slow and less
accurate but we need to continue to learn to use English so that we
become familiar with English words. talking with a friend in english
even though it is mixed with the Malay language but I'm happy because
my friend tell and correct words wrong and what I do not know. So from
