Removal

• Remove the engine lid ( M 2.01).

• Turn the ignition key to the "II" position, raise the soft top ( N 1.03) and lock it in an intermediate position
(with the rear fins in the vertical position and the front roof frame resting on the rear one). Retain the cover in

• On both sides, unscrew the screws (1) fastening the rear cover to the soft top frame. Keep the shimming

• Shift the soft top retainer flap downwards (2) and, working gently to prevent breakage, lift upwards the rear
cover in order to separate the washers glued onto the cover and to the support brackets for the soft top
retainer flap. At the same time, pull the cover to the rear.
• Carry out the same procedures to detach the cover on the opposite side and then remove it from the body
complete with the side wind guards.

• Keep the washers (3), after detaching them from the support brackets for the flap (2) and/or from the rear
cover.

Assembly

There are several sealers (A) glued onto the lower surface of the rear cover and two cover support brackets (B)
are also provided for the latter.
• When replacing the part, new sealers, already furnished with adhesive, must be applied and the support
brackets for the cover must be fitted.
• Fit the wind guard and lock it under the cover using the screws (4).
• Glue three washers (3), applying AREXON SYSTEM c666 dope on each raised seat on the rear cover. Spread
a film of the product also on the support surfaces for the flap (2) support brackets.

• Shift the flap (2) downwards and position the rear cover, bringing it flush with the front cover starting from the
