Checking and adjusting the maximum lamp voltage

• Turn the brightness potentiometer on the

suspension arm ccw as far as it will go.
• Move the suspension arm downward until
the inclination switch is activated.
• Set the measuring range of the true RMS 1
voltmeter to 20 or 25V AC. 2
• Connect the voltmeter to X17 and X18
terminals (1 und 2).
• Switch on the power switch.
• Turn the brightness potentiometer slowly 3
cw as far as it will go. The maximum lamp
voltage must be 12.4 +0V / –0.3V under
load with the halogen lamp.
• If the voltage deviates from this value, use
R 13 potentiometer (3) to adjust the voltage
to 12.4 –0.1V.

Caution:
Do not exceed 12.5V during the adjusting procedure.

• Re-install the dummy cover.

Setting the inclination switch

• Remove clamping screw (4) and cover (5).

• Loosen screws (6 and 7) and adjust the 5 67
switching cam in such a way that the
®
inclination switch switches on the OPMI 4
illumination at the required inclination of the
10
suspension arm, or loosen screws (8 and
9) and adjust the microswitch.
• Tighten screws (6 and 7) or (8 and 9).
• Slide protection flaps (10) correctly in the
guiding grooves of cover (5)
• Mount cover (5). 10 8/9
