SMART PLATFORM

 Brief instruction
NWM offers advanced real-time Automatic Meter Reading and Advanced Metering
Infrastructure (AMR/AMI) systems along with comprehensive meter data management for
accurate water measurement.
Our AMR/ AMI solution include the function of real time monitor, flow and consumption analysis
that utilities and water companies supervise, manage and control their metering networks.

 Single water meter analysis

 Alarm system

Various functional alarm notes, include:

*Customer leakage alarm

This will be a binary flag indicating continual usage (e.g. greater than 5 L/h for 24 hours – and
the flownever returning to zero at any time).
*Reverse flow alarm
This is to know if the water meter was installed in opposite direction to avoid tempering
*Low battery alarm
Inform the operator when the battery is less than 2.4V
*Burst alarm
This will be a binary flag indicating over high flow rate in continous time
*Tampering alarm
This will be a warning to the water authority some one is try to remove the wireless module
from the water meter

 DMA system

DMA (District Metering Area)modeling based on SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acqusition).
In large urban areas, a number of different District Metered Areas (DMAs) layouts are possible and
the comparison of possible solutions is an essential part of the decision process. Therefore, when
designing DMAs in a water distribution network, practitioners have firstly to evaluate the effects
caused by the introduction of the districts in the system, and secondly to compare the different
alternatives to determine which one is the best to adopt.
With the faster detection of bursts saves water, minimises the inconvenience of interruption to
customers and decreases the damaging consequences to infrastructure. Flow monitoring techniques
are used by water service providers to monitor leakage, this is to calculate the differece from totally
inlet supply and the totally outlet consumption, generally through offline application of mass balance
type calculations and manual observations of change in night line values.
