Kalikasan

The kidlikasan.kabataan.kalikasan is one of the finalists of TAYO 16 under the environment, Disaster
Risk Reduction , and climate change Adaptation Category.Kidlikasan is a group of young
professionals engaged in researches in Marine and coastal Environments , human behaviour, and
education. They aim to raise environmental awareness in the community while developing and
empowering kids and youth to champion for environmental protection through lectures, games, and
various activities.

Just like any environmental organizations existing in the Philippines, this program also likes to raise
awareness about the country’s environmental situation, develop feasible and unique projects for
environment wellness, and promote environmental advocacies. There are uncountable this
particular program has already done that are beneficial for the environment. Kidlikasan. Kabataan.
Kalikasan is a pro-environment youth group creating solutions to have more youth interested in
conservation. The group acts for awareness, behavioral change, and policy recommendations.
 

Personally, I find this initiative as a very helpful act not only to our environment but to the
generations waiting ahead after us. Since there are youth who are doing the solutions, it is a way to
preserve the home for the next generations. This group and its youth members would also serve as
role models for the country's adults and other senior citizens.  If youth can make saving the
environment possible, how come they cannot?

Kidlikasan is showing that no matter what the age is, the passion to save the environment is not
based to what the age of a person is. Its accomplishments and beneficial efforts are worth reflecting
on. They are an institution to observe and learn from.
