Basic use / Terminology

This is the default screen of the Cobalt Logic Cabinet. It displays current information about
the lift. It has four sections: Floor Position/Calls, Speed, Lifetime stats & Variables.

The Floor Position/Calls section displays the lift’s


current position & if it is idling or going to a floor,
in which case it displays “Going to X”

The Speed section displays the lift’s current speed.

The Lifetime Stats section displays the total


number of trips the lift has ever taken.

The Variables section displays


- The current mode (AUTO, MANUAL, FIRE)
- The current direction (IDLE, UP, DOWN)
- The current door state (OPEN, CLOSED)

The main menu of the Cobalt logic cabinet. From here you can access all the other cabinet
features. To access the menu, click the circle button once. Navigate through the menu with
the Up / Down direction buttons. Click the circle button to select an option.
NOTE: The buttons will not work if the cabinet door has not been opened / has been
removed!

Set mode
This option allows you to set the lift’s mode of operation. The available modes are Normal,
Independent & Fire Recall.
- Normal is normal lift operation.
- Independent causes the lift to only accept calls from the car, ignoring all hall calls.
- Fire Recall automatically sends the lift down to the bottom floor and ignores all calls.

Enter call
This option allows you to call the lift to a certain floor. Navigate using the Directional
buttons and click the Circle button to select.

Call Cancel
This option cancels all currently active hall & car calls.

Door Control
This option allows you to control the car and shaft doors.
- Force Open / Close opens or closes the doors at any moment.
- Enable / Disable Hold stops the doors from closing when enabled.
- Return returns you to the main menu.

The settings tab allows you to temporarily change most of the lift’s settings / features.

General Navigation
The Up & Down directional buttons are used to select which setting you would like to
modify. The Left & Right directional buttons are used to change the value of that setting.
The Circle button is used to return to the main menu.

Settings / What they do
1. DirSoundWhenMove – The lift announces what direction it is going when it starts to
move.
2. StandClear – Play the “stand clear of the doors” message (if available)
3. F(number)Delay – Change the delay of the voice. You shouldn’t touch this, as the
voice should be properly set up, and if not, it should be done in the script.
4. reopenLimit – How many times the doors can reopen before the lift goes into nudge
mode.
5. cwOffset – How far away the counterweight is from the top of the shaft. You
shouldn’t touch this.
6. CustomVoice – Use the custom voice (if available) instead of the stock Cobalt voice.
7. ChimeBeforeDoor – Play the chime before the doors open when lift arrives.
8. braking – Changes the efficiency of the lift’s leveling. Larger number = less efficient.
9. FloorPassChime – Play a sound when the lift passes a floor.
10. MusicPlaylist – Play the music playlist in the car.
11. insSpeed – How fast the lift travels on inspection.
12. VoiceVolume – Changes the volume of the lift voice.
13. doorMoveTime – How long it takes for the lift doors to open/close.
14. acceleration – How fast the lift speeds up.
15. liftMusic – Play music in the lift car.
16. maxSpeed – How fast the car travels.
17. StDoorDelay – Delay the “stand clear” message.
18. doorSensors – Reopen the doors if a player is in the way.
19. minSpeed – Changes the leveling speed.
20. DoorClosingSound – Announce that the doors are closing.
21. narrator – Activates the lift voice.
22. maxForce – The max force the lift can exert. Don’t touch this.
23. ClosingSoundDelay – Delay the door closing sound.
24. openTime – How long the lift doors stay open.
25. ClickDetector – Use legacy ClickDetectors for the buttons.
26. NoChimeReopen – Don’t play the chime if the doors reopen.
27. CustomDoorTween – Use custom door movement.
28. FloorBTClose – Close the doors immediately when a call is entered.
29. levelTolerance – Set the predoor (classic leveling) distance (studs).
30. weldPlayers – Weld people in the lift car when traveling.
31. ChimeCallBt – Play the chime when a call button is pressed.
