EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was assigned to construct a fictitious business including planning about
production management. We have initial capital of 5 million with combine effort of all
group members we have gathered information through various sources that is required
to carry on our work smoothly and properly. This project is on a bakery which is going to
be launched in the market under the name Sprinkle Delights.

Sprinkle Delights has 5 million to get the business underway. Major costs include
equipment purchases, shop rent, ingredient purchases, site modifications, and
marketing expenses.

Awareness of high-quality baked goods is on the rise. Good cakes are a rare
combination of taste, convenience, and luxury. Today's consumer has less time to
create wholesome, handmade bread cakes, but it increasingly appreciates the
nutritional and sensory benefits they provide. Sprinkle Delights produces and sells high
quality, handmade cakes. The Company will focus on European Style baking
techniques; it is made with high quality ingredients.

Sprinkle Delights main competitors include Kitchen Cuisine, Masooms, and Hot Fuzon.
Its advantage lies in the high quality of its products due to specialized manufacturing.
The main marketing focus will be an eye-catching sign, the aroma of fresh cakes
wafting out of the storefront, and periodic printed advertisements.

After establishing the operation, the company will explore the possibility to introduce
more baked products. Delivering cakes, wholesale bread and baked goods to area
restaurants and specialty retailers will also be considered.

Our goal is to open a Sprinkle Delights branches national wide but currently we will
open it Y-BLOCK, commercial Shopping Area, DHA.

Production Manufacturing

The theatrical production management is a sub-division of stagecraft. Our production


management team consisting of a production manager and number of assistants who
are responsible for realizing the visions of the producer within constraints of technical
possibility. This involves coordinating the operations of various production sub
disciplines.

Our production manager has detailed knowledge of all production disciplines including a
thorough understanding of the interaction of these disciplines during the production
process. She also has management and

matters ranging from the procurement of staff,
materials and services, to freight, customs

External control inspector

External control inspector is another worker or assistant of production manager who


also follows the directions of the in charge and assist to coordinate with internal control
inspector and production manager or chef.

Grocery shops

Raw materials and food items are usually purchased from grocery shops. It may be
standardized or fixed as per directed by in charge or in some cases variable. The most
important benefit of it is that day to day shopping may cause a lot of time waste and as
in business time is money so it helps to save a lot of valuable time.
Suppliers

Besides day to day purchasing from grocery shops we are having some contacts or
agreements with suppliers to supply some items such as milk which are usually used in
routine. The reason for that some items are perishable and cannot be stocked that is
why orders are placed to suppliers. It also helps us in many ways for example one might
not have enough time to go to market to purchase. It also helps to maintain the stock
and raw material.

Production time span division

It is basically the division of time with respect to available time to complete a task. In
other word it is the process of assigning the time span to different activities to complete
job at required time.
