MODULE 2 LESSON 2

Activity
1. Write a 3-5 page critique paper critically examining the implementation process of
technology integration about ICTs in education

ICT plays an important role in an education system specially in the

learning process. Since we understand that technology integration is very

broad and sometimes hard to monitor events circulating over the Web and the

fact that we deliver education for all students, proper implementation of

safeguarding the data and identity of all persons engaged in it are all at risks

and thus they should be protected.

Our digital selves, though they are immaterial beings, still have a link of

ourselves. This connection keeps a strong bond. Which means, what we

think, or simply what we are or what we know about ourselves, is slowly

transferred to the technological realm known as the web. In this case, various

risks can attack it and might manipulate certain contents or get personal

information.

Additionally, since we are engaging social media, our personal identity

is at risk too. One of these risks is the most notorious form of degrading

others--- bullying.

Traditional bullying became modified and has merged with

technological platforms because of the technology’s strength. This may refer

to the cyber-bullying. We all can observe that in every place, no matter how

it’s consecrated, bullying may exist. Because of the high population of the
school, there is no wonder why this place has the most observed numbers of

bullying cases.

Aside from the issues I stated above, there is one more safety issue

related to the ICT in learning. That is all about enhanced cheating. The reason

why I included it is that the outcome of cheating distresses the student’s

progressiveness and thus can refer to the ICT safety issues. ICT in learning

aims to produce excellent learners and cheating simply corrupts the mind of

every learners. The corrupted mind is another indication of trespassing the

regulation of ICT in learning.

There are so many concerns we can address and give notice. They are

all alarming as well. As an incoming professional, an agent of education,

safety among students is added to my responsibility. ICT is really wide to dive

in. By a series of experimentation, we can discover how to set a morally-

standard technological realm.

Education is our responsibility to spread. It should have been

integrated very carefully and use it in a wise way. It can challenge teachers

the potential of school policy. Using ICT means becoming responsible, an

observant for technical rules, and thinking other people above all.

Since we use technology in teaching and learning, it is important to

extract things and separate non-educational ones. This can make the project-

based teaching become stronger. Putting all the concerns among students.

Additionally, one benefit of it is that while they are learning, the fun

literally stays. ICT, by the use of its technological impact brings an

adventurous and interactive style of acquiring education for all.

Lastly, ICT can also make the students' parents stay in touch to their

children's academic progress, becoming easier for them.

Generally, ICT integration definitely promotes one's characters and

behaviours and the job will turn into the maximum proficiency. ALL---

students, teachers, as well as parents, can benefit from it. This integration is

still implemented in protecting our rights, production of greater innovation, and

catching up objectives.

There are no other things to protect us once we get in, but only safety

to reduce risks. That is why e-safety comes over to protect us. According to

the Superman movie, "Whoever controls the technology, controls the world".

That is what we want to avoid. The proper implementation of ICT integration

must, again, be observed.

Analysis
1. Organize small groups to interview and explain how existing and planned national
policies impact classroom practices and how their classroom practices correspond
to and support policies related to ICT.
As we discover things, we think about the safety procedure of handling it to
reduce abusive actions. Without the existing policies, improper doings may wear off
until being uncontrollable. To reduce the risks of it, policies’ role is to manage all the
people. Classroom practices should react accordingly. They can support ICT policies
by implementing it carefully and help people recognize the benefits of having an
organized life in the cyberworld.

2. What is the impact of ICT in Education Policy on teaching and learning?

The whole impact of it is a great sharing of knowledge, the fun remains
and no Personal insults being gained. No hurts, physically, emotionally, or
mentally.

3. Interview a cyberbullied student and what are your suggestions to improve

student performance related to the discussion of safety issues in
cyberbullying?
Actually, my qualitative research in High School talked about victims of
cyberbullying. As a witness to their bursting out of emotions, I felt their
massive tragedies. Most of our interviewees encountered cyberbullying, but
they kept it inside, not letting teachers know it. So, I would like to suggest an
information drive to all college students. It is because, someday, we will face
the new generation. This upcoming generation has an uncountable
expectancy upon us. Therefore, we must aware about the conditions
happening right now.
