Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you
answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?

If I had that possibility I would probably try to improve on what I have failed, I
would also try to do other activities and spend more time with my family

2. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most?

In these cases I prefer to listen to those constructive criticisms that contribute


something positive to my life and that in the future I can apply to improve.
3. Tell me about your last position?

My last position was as general manager, there I was in charge of planning,


organizing, directing, controlling, controlling, analyzing, calculating and
deducting the work of the company, in addition to hiring the appropriate
personnel.

4. What is your work philosophy?

I like to keep in mind the phrase "obstacles are those horrible things that you see
when you take your eyes off your goals" by Henry Ford, I also believe that to be
a good worker you have to be orderly and disciplined

5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?

With the passing of months and years I can say that my lexeme is more nurtured
and it is easier for me to dialogue with people, I have acquired words of which I
have not had knowledge and I know how to express myself in every situation
that arises in my life

6. Tell me about the best manager you have ever had.

I think the best coach I have ever had is myself, I have known when to demand
more of myself and when to recognize that I have done well, I also give credit to
my mother who has been one of the fundamental bases to keep going and not
give up

7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position?

I don't remember, I just did the interview and they gave me that position, maybe it
was to get a salary increase

8. Why do you want to leave your current job?

I am always open to trying new things, changing the environment and acquiring
more knowledge, I have already worked for 4 years in that company and I think
it is time to work elsewhere.

9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do
things better?
I really spent nights without sleep, I am not one of the people who give up easy, I
think I am a bit ambitious and competitive I try to be the best in everything so I
did my best to be a remarkable worker

10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?

Although I have a position that many want to have and an almost enviable salary, I
do not feel comfortable there, so it is easier to leave
