as visual arts (painting, ceramics, drawing, and so on), theatrical arts, musical arts, and
dance, is characterized as artistic literacy.

2. What is Creativity Literacy?


 The capacity to participate in creative processes and utilize creative thinking to look
beyond what is currently available is known as creative literacy.

3. Why is creativity literacy important?


 It boosts student engagement, bringing a subject to life – piquing students' attention –
and increases information retention. It may also develop speaking and listening skills,
foster teamwork, and be made practical for people who may struggle with standard
teaching approaches, such as dyslexic youngsters. Reluctant readers may be
encouraged to read, confidence may be built, and practical skills may be taught through
creative literacy.

4. What are the advantages of creativity literacy?


 Pupils are encouraged to think creatively when they are exposed to creativity in the
classroom. They were more receptive to new challenges and ideas. It provided students
more control over their learning, increased their interest in self-discovery, and improved
their problem-solving abilities, resulting in more successful learners.

5. Why is Visual Literacy/Skill known as the foundation of learning?


 It's because visual literacy enables students to comprehend art and visual media as they
encounter them. Visual literacy is a talent and a critical capacity to comprehend what is
shared online and delivered in any other type of visual media on today's visual Internet.

6. How does Hand-Eye coordination work? Give specific examples based on your experience.
 The capacity to conduct actions that demand the simultaneous use of our hands and
eyes, such as an activity that requires the information our eyes receive (visual spatial
perception) to lead our hands to carry out a movement, is known as hand-eye
coordination.
 When I am writing, typing using a keyboard, making drawings, opening a lock, opening a
gas stove, opening a drawer and cutting using a scissor.

7. What teaching strategy can you include/incorporate arts and creativity literacy? Identify the
different activities which can be used in the chosen strategy.
 In a science class, creating experiments like the creative volcano using materials
available at home.
 In an English class, making them draw objects and identify them and create sentences
with the object they drawn.
