Dear Managing Director,

I am writing this letter because I would like to give some suggestions in order to make an
improvement in the well-being of all the members of the staff that form part of this travel
agency. Not only do we want to expose what we think about the conditions of our
employment, but also we would like to point out our opinions regarding the equipment and
the facilities of the office.

To begin with, we would like to share our disagreement with the kind of contracts that lots of
employers of the company have. As far as we are concerned, after three years working from
the same job position we should have a temporary contract. However, most of us are doing
our job with a long-term service contract and due to that some members of the staff feel
uncomfortable and insecure as they believe that is an unstable job position. In addition, the
salaries that we are earning are not as good as they were years before and we are totally
convinced that the professionality and the quality of the development of our tasks is the
same. Due to that, we would like to ask for a salary increase and some benefits such as
travel discounts and others.

Secondly, the equipment that is being used in the office by the employers is totally
old-fashioned such as the computers or the printers and, generally, the technological system
of the company is antiquated too. This last point is an issue for all the members as it is a
challenge to work everyday with equipment that does not work properly. Whatsmore, the
control of the temperature is completely inadequate as we have to wear jackets in summer
and t-shirts in winter. Last but not least, the canteen of our office does not offer all the dietary
variety that it should have as not only do we have members of the company that are from
other cultures and can not eat some of the food that is offered in the dishes, but also those
ones who are vegetarian or vegan.

To sum up, we would be grateful if our petitions and suggestions are revised and we would
like to receive some acceptable solutions in order to improve the well-being of all the
employers of this company.
