I. PURPOSE
This document shows the steps on implementation of maintenance work order
procedure.

II. SCOPE
This shows only the steps in implementation of maintenance work order procedure
and type of activity (CM, PM, FAB & FP) which only applicable in Jacobi Carbons,
Philippines.

A work order is a document that provides all the information about a maintenance
task and outlines a process for completing that task. It is created as a result of
machine’s breakdown or failure to run and all other tasks that need to check and
Install/repair. The maintenance person involved is required to provide feedback on
the breakdown upon completion of the activity.

Corrective Maintenance (CM)


Corrective maintenance (also called breakdown maintenance). It is created as a
result of machine’s breakdown or failure to run and maintenance tasks that are
performed in order to rectify and repair. The purpose of corrective maintenance is to
restore broken down machines.

Preventive Maintenance (PM)


Preventive maintenance (or preventative maintenance) are maintenance that is
regularly checking/perform on machine/equipment to lessen the likelihood of it
failing. It is performed while still working so that it does not break down
unexpectedly.

Fabrication Project (FAB)


The CM/PM Personnel will perform the work for Fabrication projects in
creation of Metal structures by cutting, bending and assembling processes of
machines and parts.

Factory Project (FP)


Factory Project Team objectives are the successful development of the project’s
procedures of initiation, planning, execution, regulation and closure as well as the
guidance of the project team’s operations towards achieving all the agreed upon
goals within the set scope, time, quality and budget standards.
The third-party service provider will perform the work for Factory projects.
