Managing My Virtual Classroom Activities

REFLECTIVE JOURNAL NO.2

Cooperating School refers to the public or private elementary / high school where the teaching
intern undergoes off campus teaching under a cooperating teacher who assists him/her on his/her
teaching stint.
The cooperating school serves as a training ground or laboratory of teaching. The prospective teacher gets
the “feel” of the school and the “feel” of being a “real” teacher. A teacher training program greatly
depends on how well the internship program is carried out in the cooperating schools. The characteristics
of cooperating school that nurture and inspire teacher participation: friendly atmosphere where the
learners and other members of the community live in love, care, and understanding safe and secure
environment where the learners and other members of the community are free from hazards, accidents,
and other calamities. It should be positive and non-threatening environment where respect, fairness,
support, and communication are present in the entire school system.
As a future educator, I learned that knowledge is not enough to be come a passionate and
dedicated teacher, we need to have balance in dealing with individual, we need to be hospitable,
approachable, have extra patience just to be an effective teacher. We need to be good anywhere, not
only in the class but also in our co-teachers. And I think I need to manifest those things because I want to
be a better version of myself.

The educational stressor that I experienced while answering this reflective journal is that I need
to cater those idea which I think essential for my learning. I need to apply higher order thinking skills just
to create reflective performance task and a informative analysis and reflections.
