In our everyday lives we come across written numbers, in the newspapers, on bank
checks and in legal documents, so it is important to be able to read and understand
them.

The first thing that you need to know is how to spell the various numbers so use the
chart below:

Tips:
When writing numbers such as twenty five, put a hyphen between
the twenty and five like this twenty-five.
