1. Program Title : Contruction of the Titian Kasih Dormitory

2. Program
Location/Addres : Sangele, Village, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia

4.3. The education institutions that will accommodate them are:
a. SMP GKST 2 Tentena (Junior High School)
b. SMA GKST 2 Tentena (Senior High School)
c. SMK GKST 2 Tentena (Senior High School)
Located 1,6 km from Titian Kasih Hostel
4.4. The learning practice will be conducted at the Sinar Kasih GKST
Hospital for student health/medical workes, located 700 meters
from the Titian Kasih Hostel.

5. Rationale : 5.1. Wana area is an area that is inhabited by the “wana” tribe who
inhabit the interior of the mountains jungle central eastern
Sulawesi, namedly North Morowali regency, whose lifestyle is
still natural. Live scattered in the jungle and remotes in the
interior.

5.2. At the first there where stil “wana tribesman” who wore
underwear/koleka without clothes on the body. The condition of
the simple cottage kitchen is made in the midlle with the
intention that if you sleep at night all family members sleep lying
around the kitchen because it is cold without blanket but there is
a fire that is a lamp to warm it.
5.3. The model of social life is very depent on the topography of the
mountainous natural environment. The potencial of nature
resources determines the domicile location of their social crowd.
If you want to cut down the forest to be processed into fields,
after drying it is burned and then planted with rice, corn, cassava
and bananas according to the soeds that are owned as the are.
The crops are scrambled with wild boars, monkeys and forest rat
pests. If the time are famine, they take poisonous forest tubers to
be processed to eat. Non modern patterns do not settle, always
move when certain seasons they get food.
5.4. If there is a disease out break, they reason that there is
supernatural power, there are jin in the cave and banyan tree.
They try to seek treatment from shamans and shaman spells. Not
familiar with medical treatment and drugs.
5.5. After entering the ministry of zending Nederland, the natural and
primitive lifestyle began to undergo a process of change,

especially in health vacational school in Tentena
5.6. Titian Kasih Foundation in human resource development
program plans
a. To capture a number of children of nursing vocational high
school age from remote areas in the interior of wana area and
underprivi lagged and orphans children from central Sulawesi.
b. Build a house unit 5 rooms for children.
c. Build a house unit for supervisior husband and wife family.
d. Build I unit of kitchen and dining room which is
simultaneously fostered and supervised by the head of
thedormitory who regulated the daily consumption of food
 and drink for the residents of the dormitory Titisn Kasih
Foundation.
e. The plan of the Titian Kasih Foundation has determined the
location for the dormitory construction area with land area 60
acres, this land is the personal property of Herson Rare’a the
chairman of the Titian Kasih Foundation which was
voluntarily donated to the Titian Kasih Foundation where the
Titian Kasih dormitory will built.

6. The purpose and objective of the construction of the Titian Kasih dormitory
6.1. Creating and providing facilities and infrastructure opportunities for school age
children from remote areas of wana who are talented and interested in learning in the
health and others fields.
6.2. Give them the opportunity to equip them selves in various aspect of absorb various
health knowledge skillfully and actualize them selves with the Titian Kasih dormitory
environment, so that this patterns belongs to the children to be practiced as a lifestyle
when returning to their village.
With the behavior carried out in the dormitory in to the behavior of life in the
community of origin. All are expected to become health behavior in their families and
communities as an effort to change the lifestyle that controls them. So that they are no
longer bound to old living condition.
6.3. Procurement of kitchen utensils, the children will be able to learn through the guidance
of the hostel builder, fostering and teaching cooking, how to arrange and clean
eating/drinking utensils which is also an exercise in maintaining and utilizing and
managing good eating.
6.4. Procurement of bedroom equipment and sleeping utensils, wardrobe and study table,
provision of bedding, matrasses, pillows, bed limen, and blankets in addition to the
means to enjoy a good rest, dormitory children are trained and accustomed to
arranging sleeping equipment can be arranged maintained clean.
6.5. Toilet and soap facilities are a means of habituation of healthy bathing, washing clothes
and using the toilet, before defecating in the rivers or between bushes.
6.6. The availability of food ingredients, (rice, side, dishes, cooking oil etc) will be a need for
sufficient food and nutrious, there is sugar added to tea, and regularly there is milk for
a healthy, economical and nutrious drinking pattern.
6.7. Procurement of school uniform and shoes in accordance with school regulation, proper
daily clothes, towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste and other necessities.
6.8. In an effort to maintain the security of the dormitory environment, it is necessary to
 temporarily build a trellis fence at the front of the dormitory and on the left and right
side yards and the with the razor wire fence.
6.9. Installation of electrical for lighting purpose and water installation and installation of
other electronic equipment.
