Guide Questions to Answer:

I – Did you cover all the most essential learning competencies? If not identify all the competencies not covered.

All other essential learning competencies of the subject were covered aside from the part which is applying geometric concepts, especially isometric
in describing and creating designs.

II-Have you accomplished the objectives included in the previous term? If not, please identify reasons/problems that interfered in the attainment of
your target objectives.

I was able to achieve my objective for the subject; Using mathematical concepts and tools in other areas such as finance, voting, logic, business,
network and systems.. However despite its success there has been a problem in their time management especially in solving each word problems.
They tend to stuck in solving problems more than the expected time allocated. They also can’t finish the desired outputs on time due to unstable
internet connectivity and availability of gadgets. I also had difficulty in checking and correcting their works due to late submission and it takes more
time to correct each tasks for it involve step by step solutions. I was not only checking their answers but also correcting it with the right solutions.
III- Please specify the corrective actions/steps to be done for the next term in order to address these problems.

For this problem not to be encountered again for the next academic year, I strongly suggest that the instructor should give more time dedicated in
solving problems especially those word problems which takes time to be analyzed other than the complete solutions which is a crucial requirement
to prove the understanding of the students. Also, in the part of the learners, I suggest that they should prepare the desired materials and gadgets to
be used before the actual online classes to avoid time disarrangements. Thirdly, they should find a place suitable for them which also has stable
internet connectivity to avoid disruption. And lastly, they have to dedicate more than in practicing solving problems to master the basic in solving
mathematical word problems.

IV- Enumerate the indicators for the accomplishment of your general objects on the previous term.

My students were able to produce the following:

Create and solve their own sets of word problems,


Reporting,
Formulate problems related to Measures of Central tendency and Variability,
Draw using designs and fractals, and
Relate works to finance, voting, logic, business, networks and systems.

V – Identify the strengths (skills that were developed) and weaknesses (skills that need reinforcement for the next term) of the students based from
their performance for the previous term.

Solving mathematical word problem is one of the skills and strengths of the students. They were able to master calculating word problems,
mean, median, and mode applying what they have learned from measures of variability and also relating fractals to real-life scenarios. They were
able to explore and be innovative and creative especially in art related activities. This is important knowing the level of attention span of the students
in online classes. Maintaining interest and making online classes interactive without compromising efficacy in teaching is important.

One of the weaknesses that I have observed is the time management of the students. Yes, they can execute the needed answers with the
proper step-by-step solutions but it requires more time than what is dedicated/allocated for each problems given. They should have time
management and activity plans next time to avoid time restraints. This is the crucial problem which should be reinforced next term. Knowing the
right time and allocating enough time in conducting activities and individual/group tasks should be mastered.
VI- Identify the competencies in the previous term that need reinforcement in the next term.

Analyzing situations and applying critical thinking skills in order to resolve problems are the main competencies which need to be reinforced
next term. Students must be knowledgeable to problem-solving skills and analyzation in order for them to be effective. This is important to be able to
use their creativity and intelligence to master each skills needed in solving.

VII – What suggestion/s can you give to further improve your subject-area program for the next term?

For this subject to be effective and engaging to the learners, the instructors need a thorough planning to effectively carry out the subject to the
learners thinking they should enjoy each meeting. As an apprehensive instructor, there should be an initial plan on what to do for the given months
to teach the subject. The instructor should put out the concepts, activities, and projects that the students must complete and submit. The instructor
must also stick to his or her objective and competencies. He/she should ensure that the students learn something at the end of the session or
lecture. Learning and successful teaching are only possible if the instructor has a strategy for doing so.
