Building a Corteva Windows 10 Boot Stick

1. Download the provided Windows 10 ISO for Corteva Modern

Managed devices.
2. Navigate in a web browser to the rufus.exe download site
https://rufus.ie/

3. Download the latest Rufus version. At the time of this publication

the latest version was 3.9.

4. Insert your USB stick and run the “rufus-3.9.exe” application from
the downloaded location.
NOTE: The USB stick will be erased
5. The USB stick should be auto detected in the “Device” section. If
not, select the proper drive location.
6. Click directly on the “SELECT” button to navigate to the
downloaded Corteva Windows 10 ISO file.
NOTE: Only click the dropdown arrow to change the option to “SELECT”

7. Navigate to the Windows 10 ISO file provided:

“SW_DVD9_Win_Pro_10_20H2.6_64BIT_English_Pro_Ent_EDU_N
_MLF_X22-59347.ISO” and click the Open button.
8. Make sure the File System is set to “NTFS”
9. Click the “START” button
10. Click “OK” when the Rufus Warning prompt appears
11. Progress will be displayed in the “Status” section
12. Click the Close button for the Secure Boot notice and close Rufus.
Your Boot Stick is now ready for use.

**TPM and Secure Boot needs to be enabled when the computer is completed, so if you disable
secure boot or TPM, they need to be enabled in the BIOS before completion.

1. Plug in Power, Ethernet, and USB

2. Boot to USB via F12
3. Select UEFI PNY… Partition 1 (or name of the USB drive that you built)
4. On Windows Install:
a. Next
b. Install Now
c. Select Windows 10 Enterprise, Next
d. Accept License, Next
e. Select Custom: Install Windows only
f. Delete ALL current Partitions, Next
g. Computer will Reboot
5. On Windows 10 Setup, accept all Defaults
6. Select “Domain Join Instead” in the bottom left corner
a. Type “ACE” in the name field
b. No Password
7. Click “No” to history
8. Click “Decline” Digital assistant
9. Click “Accept” Privacy settings
10. When the Desktop loads
a. Run Powershell as Administrator (Right click)
b. Copy and paste the following commands accepting “YES” or “YES ALL”
i. Install-Script -Name Get-WindowsAutoPilotInfo
ii. set-executionpolicy remotesigned
iii. Get-WindowsAutoPilotInfo.ps1 -OutputFile .\MyComputer.csv
c. Copy C:\windows\system32 MyComputer.csv file to USB and email it to dl-euc-
autopilotrequest@corteva.com along with the User ID the computer will be assigned
11. Reset computer by going to Start| Settings| Update & Security| Recovery| Reset this PC
a. Select Remove everything, Next, Reset.
12. Computer will reboot and reset OS. Wait till “Select Region” screen appears then hold the power
button to shutoff computer
