The role of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as a government body in terms of
commercial and universal banks is that they are a central bank with administrative and
supervisory control over all banks and money related organizations practicing semi

The Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) was established under the


Republic Act 6369, its main function is to detail, embrace and execute coordinated and

the Legislature; thus, having the same goal with commrercial banks but different
approach.

The PDIC or the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation is an
