You can also enable it in the dash cam settings: Press the function button below the icon
to enter Settings, select Video Settings > Parking surveillance. Selecting either
high sensitivity or low sensitivity enables the function.
After the parking surveillance function is enabled, when the dash cam is power off, it will
enter the parking surveillance mode. When the vehicle encounters a collision in parking,
the dash cam will automatically record a parking surveillance video.
Some vehicles still power the cigarette lighter in parking. In such cases, the dash cam will
only enter parking surveillance mode when the auto-off time is configured in the dash
cam settings.
You can view the parking surveillance videos in the album. Parking surveillance videos are
stored in the Parking Video directory.
You can also view the parking surveillance videos in the 70mai app (after connecting to
the dash cam with the 70mai app) in the Parking video directory.
4. Why the device doesn’t enter parking surveillance mode after power-off?
In the following cases, the parking surveillance function does not work:
If the device is turned off without external power supply and the built-in battery is
low, the device cannot enter the parking surveillance mode.
If the device enters the parking surveillance mode without external power supply for a
long time, it will keep consuming the power of the built-in battery. If the built-in
battery power is too low or depleted, the device will be unable to record surveillance
videos.
If the device enters the parking surveillance mode without external power supply, and
the temperature inside the vehicle is lower than -10°C or higher than 60°C, the built-in
battery cannot discharge electricity, and the device will be unable to record
surveillance videos when the vehicle encounters a collision.
1. How to record an emergency video?
Press the button below the icon on the main interface.
Start the dash cam so that it can record an emergency video automatically when it
detects any collision.

(2) Select Video settings > Emergency video then choose the sensitivity you want.
If you choose Disable, the Dash Cam will not automatically record an emergency video
in the event of a collision.
Due to the complexity of road conditions during driving, the device does not guarantee
that the video recorded can be stored in the Emergency Video directory every time an
emergency occurs. If you can’t find the video in the Emergency Video directory, please
check the Normal directory.
An emergency video is a normal video that is being recorded plus another 30s video.
Therefore, its minimum length may be 31 seconds, and its maximum length may be 1
minute and 30 seconds.
1. What’s the length of a time-lapse video?
Like a normal video, the length of a standard time-lapse video is 1 minute. The time-
lapse video is captured at 1 frame per second, thus the dash cam actually records a 30-
minute normal video and condenses to a 1-minute time lapse video.
The time-lapse function can only be used when the parking surveillance cord is
installed.
After the parking surveillance cord is installed, you can enable the time-lapse function in
> Video settings > Lapse video.
When the vehicle is shut off, the dash cam will enter the time-lapse recording mode
when detecting the ACC off signal. When the dash cam detects the ACC on signal, it will
exit the time-lapse recording mode.
The time-lapse videos are stored in the Time-lapse directory. Press the function button
below the icon to enter the album, select the Time-lapse directory to view them.
If both functions are enabled, they won’t conflict with each other.
When the parking surveillance cord is installed and the time-lapse function is enabled,
the dash cam enter the time-lapse recording mode when detecting the ACC off signal.
During this process, if the acceleration sensor of the dash cam detects vibration, the
parking surveillance function will be triggered and the dash cam will automatically save
the current time-lapse video and start to record a parking surveillance video. Once the
parking surveillance video is completed and stored, the dash cam will continue the time-
lapse video.

The dash cam is equipped with a built-in battery, which only provides power to finish and
store videos when the dash cam is off, and as well for parking surveillance. Do not use
the dash cam if it is not connected to a power supply.
If the dash cam is not used for a long period of time, the battery may be depleted. After
being connected to a power supply, the dash cam can function normally. However, the
system time may have been reset to factory settings. You can manually set the system
time after turning on the dash cam.

Dash cam supports microSD cards with a the capacity of 16GB~128GB and a read/write
speed of Class 10 and above. Some microSD cards with other capacities and lower levels
may also be used, but we do not guarantee the effective recording. Low-level SD cards
may cause slow writing and video recording errors.
Dash cam support FAT32 format and it does not support other file system formats, such
as NTFS, EXFAT.
3. For memory cards with different capacity, how long can the videos be recorded?
We calculate to get the above figures by assuming the nominal capacity matches the
actual capacity.
However, some microSD card manufacturers may reserve certain capacity for other
usage, hence the nominal capacity may differ from the actual capacity. The figures above
are for reference only and the video length depends on the actual capacity.
Note: All types of videos are stored using loop recording. Once the storage space of the corresponding category is full,
the earliest video in that category will be automatically deleted when a new video is generated. To ensure that
important videos are not erased, immediately export them to a phone, computer, or other device for backup.
4. Why there are damaged videos that cannot be played in the microSD card?
5. Why the FAT32 card also needs to be formatted when inserted into the dash
cam?
Memory cards formatted by other devices may have compatibility anomalies on the file
partitions. So please format the memory card within the Dash cam.
If an SD card cannot record videos, the screen will display a prompt indicating that the
SD card is abnormal. Please perform corresponding operations according to the prompt.
The abnormal status of a SD card includes:
Those tips help to protect both your Dash Cam and the microSD card.
Do not insert or remove the microSD card while the Dash Cam is on. Doing so
may cause damage to the device and the microSD card.
Please format the microSD card when it is used for the first time in the Dash
Cam. Formatting the microSD card in other devices may cause the file partition
difference and the microSD card to malfunction.
In order to avoid slow reading and writing, after a microSD card is used for a
long time, it is recommended to format it in the Dash Cam every two weeks or
so. Formatting deletes all files in the microSD card, so please save important
videos in advance.
