GENSAN YOUTH PEACE BUILD

ORGANIZATION OF ALL ORGANIZATIONS FOR MALINAWONG GENSAN.

In which all organizations who promote peace through entrepreneurship, environmental cause, and
humanitarian rights in which peace is present in different sustainable goals are welcome to be a
member.

PROBLEM: Weak organizational system for peace, weak avenue for peace education and advocacy,
lack of fund, there is peace but it needs to be strengthen by an organization.

DEFINING TERMS:

What is:

Peace-freedom from disturbance; tranquility and it is not only the absence of war but also the
conflicts in environmental, economic and humanitarian right.

Peacebuilders-a person that is taking action for a more peaceful and just world. Peacebuilders are
everywhere, and anyone can be one.
Peace Advocates-  any policy that advocates maintaining peaceful relations. dovishness - any
political orientation favoring compromise to avoid conflict.

STAKE HOLDERS:
Members can be lawmakers, non-government and government organizations, Media Sites
and Social Media Platforms, Mass Media Corporations both in TV and Radio and also
Media Related Organizations.

ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM: Lack of awareness due to the gaining educational attainment,
scarcity of resources distributed to different sectors.

CONSEQUENCES: Temporary term of the organization in which the impact of it’s project is not so
strengthen, the funding will be put into waste, lack of trust to other partner organizations.

SHORT TERM EFFECTS: The changes to a particular member of the organization had changes in overall
aspects, in terms of organizational had a collaborative efforts, and community development had a
progress.

LONG TERM EFFECTS: There will be a CORE TEAM consist of 5 individuals (WE CALL THEM PEACE
BUILDERS) in which there will be also 5 PEACE ADVOCATES from public and organizations and
individual in which they will be serving the General Santos City for 3 years and had members to be
trained and honed Why we didn’t plan to annually change the 5 peace advocates? Because this
initiative is a lifelong term in which we can pass this organization and a peace advocate should last.
