Upgrade Instruction for TAP-2000

For SW Ver. 4.0.01 to 4.0.08 please perform step 1 and step 2.

For SW Ver. 4.0.09 and higher please skip step 1 and perform only step 2.

Step 1: DR-TS7041_SD Card on TAP-2000

SD Card Update to Ver. 4.0.09 or higher

Step 2: DR-TS7040_Software Upgrade on TAP-2000

Software Upgrade to Ver. 4.0.12 or higher
Step 1: DR-TS7041_SD Card on TAP-2000
For CB SW Ver. 4.0.09 and higher please skip and go to Step 2 directly
1. Turn it over , tighten five screws

2. Disconnect SD Card.

3. Connect SD Card to PC

4. Copy the Recovery folder (DATA, PRINT) to the PC

5. Unzip “GUI_SD, V4.0.09.A.zip

6. Fomat USB Driver

File system: FAT32(Default)
Allocation unit size:
Default allocation size
7. Press “START” Button

8. Copy the Recovery folder (DATA,

PRINT) to the USB Memory
(=SD Card)

9. Copy the “GUI_SD, V4.0.09.A “ to the USB Memory (=SD Card)

10. Disconnect SD Card.

11. Connect SD Card to CB(Control Box)
12. Reboot
Step 2: DR-TS7040_Software Upgrade on TAP-2000
S/W Upgrade
1. Install update S/W pc application.
Install Dfuse(v3.0.5) pc application. Run the install file. (DfuSe_Demo_V3.0.5_Setup.exe)

1. Prepare the USB 2.0 A male to A male cable.

Just prepare, do not connect to CB.

2. Turn on the power of Junction box(JB) whiling

pushing the jog-push button.
3. The [ BOOT MODE ] is seen on the screen of CB.
4. Move the 'Upgrade Software' menu by pressing jog-
push button. and then the color of the menu is
changed as blue.
5. Select the 'Upgrade Software' menu by pressing
jog-push button for 1sec. and then the color of the
menu is changed as red.
6. Run the 'Dfuse Demo v3.0.5 pc application.
7. Connect USB cable.

8. Install USB Driver.

8. At that time, 'STM Device in DFU Mode' item has to be
seen in 'Available DFU Devices' like as the right picture.
9. Click [Choose] button and then select update main S/W file
(CB_App_VER 4.0.xx A.dfu).
10. Click the [Upgrade] button and the confirm window is seen
on the screen.
11. Push [Y] button and the updating S/W will be run.

10. Turn off and on the JB power.
