Q2) Numericals
1. In a circular track of radius 100 m an athlete runs 1/4 of the ground. What
would be the displacement?
2. A farmer moves along the boundary of a square field of side 20 m in 40 s. What
will be the magnitude of displacement of the farmer at the end of 2 minutes 20
seconds from his initial position?
 3. An object goes 10km towards East, 5 km towards West and finally 12km
towards North. Find the total distance travelled and the displacement of the
object.
4. A man has to go 50m due north, 40m due east and 20m due south to reach a
field. What is the distance travelled and displacement covered by the man?
5. A joker moves 5 steps forward and 3 steps backward. If each step is of one
meter and he takes one second to cover one step what would be the distance
travelled and the displacement covered by the joker after 20s.
