Sub: Regarding the admission in Masters in Space and Engineering Systems.

    My name is Rushikesh Patil, I am an upcoming graduate of Aeronautical Engineering.  This application

letter is intended for admission in your esteemed institution for the course of Masters in Space and
Engineering Systems. I am pursuing Aeronautical Engineering and expecting to graduate in June 2021.

        Flight is a cardinal fascination for me and for many aerospace engineers who are awe inspired and
galvanized by it. We can move through water without boats and move across land without cars, but we can’t
fly without machines. We can walk by taking a single step and swim by holding our breath, but to fly, we have
to outsmart nature. This very thought inspired me and made me curious about the science of flight which
propelled me towards the profession of aerospace engineering.

       I always believed that some people make their lives happen, while others let life happen to them. I wanted
to be of the former kind which led to my inquisitive nature. This driving force of exploring and learning
developed into an interest in science and technology. Realizing the necessity of a conducive atmosphere to
nurture my interests, I toiled hard to secure admission for an undergraduate program majoring in
Aeronautical engineering at Visvesvaraya University, Belgaum which is rated as one among the best
engineering Universities in South India.

   I have opted for M.S. Space and Engineering Systems at Skoltech Institute of Science and Technology because
of the in depth study modules in Space dynamics and Sytems. The module I most look forward are “Space-
systems” and “Advanced Flight Dynamics”.

    Furthermore a Master's Degree in Space and Engineering Systems will allow me to pursue my dream to
work at continued progress in the field of Space engineering. I find thrust engines fascinating. Working on the
optimization of any type of flight system would be my ideal career. Considering the rise of commercial space
programs and the undeniable benefits of high speed transportation, knowledge of Advanced Flight Dynamics
will be essential in contributing to new and advanced Space Machines.
