healthcare is that can influence the underlying growth rate of the economy, structural productivity
growth, living standards and others. Moreover, the significance of it would be it will be easier to
categorize them as well as it plays an important function to intervention and practices in healthcare.

I can say that all the components of health information system are important because if one
of them is not properly handle, it may affect the other component that will eventually lead to chain
reaction of error. In line with this, Data Management is important to every institution because it helps
the society to function well in a way that all the information within the society will ensure that their
data sources are protected and confidential. In addition, data management makes a difference
wherein it minimizes potential mistakes by building up forms and approaches for utilization and
others. Lastly, having a competent and organize data management will help the institution to function
well and it helps them to respond easily to the needs of the patient.

C. What can you say about the adoption of HIS in the hospitals in the Philippines?
The adoption of health information systems in the hospitals in the Philippines greatly
improved the performance of our medical institution in a sense that they can easily provide the
needs of the patient with the use of both technology and systems in a healthcare setting. In line with
this, the HIS is indeed an advantage in the hospitals in which it is easier access to files, having
better control, easier update and also help to improved that communications. Lastly, we should be
aware to our actions because if a mistake happens, it will cause or may lead to a minor problem and
those minor problems may potentially become a huge problem to the patient information.
