Overuse of the Internet by teenagers

The internet is the most powerful tool invention, and if used in a positive direction
the internet can prove that to be very productive. Young people can access
information and learning opportunities, communicate in writing, keep in touch
with minded people and explore creativity through videos, blogs, online art or
music creation. Positive factors bring potential dangers, especially for teenagers
who may lack self- limitation to properly use the internet.

Nowadays, due to the social media sites such as Facebook, Wechat, Instagram or
TikTok, the internet had an effect on teenagers especially college students. Things
that have positive effects also have some negative effects. On the other hand. Here
are the five negative effects of the internet on young people: No exercise,
cyberbullying, loss of the human touch, get addicted to online games and insomnia.
Physical exercise has become scarce. They prefer bicycles to cycling or walking.
This lead to obesity. Moreover, to this problem there is also the internet. Students
spend most of their time in a place infront of the computer and have little physical
activity. Lack of any activity is one of the problems in their body. Even at night,
they do not sleep but spend time online. Due to obesity and inertia,many other
health problem may also arise.
