ABSTRACT
This study is conducted to develop a liquid fertilizer from milkfish (Chanos chanos) innards for the cultivation
of chili pepper (Capsicum frusctesens). The experiment aims to determine the response of the chili plants to the
liquid milkfish innards fertilizer compared to another type of fertilizer, which is animal manure. The study will make
use of randomized complete block design (RCBD) as a basis to determine the growth of the chili pepper plants using
liquid milkfish innards fertilizer compared to the use animal manure fertilizer. The research uses RCBD since each
pot plants will use the treatment of having the same amount of soil, sunlight, and water while being subjected to 2
different fertilizers. The researchers will create the fish emulsion mixture by mixing the milkfish innards, brown
organic matter, molasses and water. It will be rested for a few weeks, then it will be filtered to become fish
emulsion. It will be applied to one chili pepper plant, and the other will be applied with animal manure. One plant
will be the control variable, having no fertilizers applied. The three plants will be observed, and further studies will
be conducted.
