ADMISSION INFORMATION BROCHURE - IV - 2020-2021
For M.Tech. / M. Planning (Evening Courses for locally employed personnel)
1. GENERAL:
i. Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam invites applications for admission
into various courses offered in Campus Colleges of Arts & Commerce, Science, Engineering and
Law for the academic year 2020-2021.
ii. Candidates are advised to go through the Admission Information Brochure - IV available in
Andhra University Website www.audoa.in and select the appropriate course of study based on
the eligibility criteria.
iii. Courses offered, their eligibility criteria, details of fee structure and seats available are given in
Annexure - I.
iv A candidate seeking admission into a particular course has to fulfill the eligibility criteria
specified for that course.
v The requirement for admission into Engineering and Management Studies is a minimum
aggregate of 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC,ST reserved categories) in the qualifying
examination.
vi. No call letters will be sent to the candidates. They are advised to visit the University website
for admission schedule.
vii. Hostel accommodation will not be provided for candidates admitted into evening / Diploma
Courses.
viii. The university reserves the right to fill or not to fill and to enhance or reduce the number of
seats earmarked for a particular course on administrative reasons. All admissions are purely
provisional and the University reserves the right to cancel the admission at any stage.
Further, it also reserves the right to run or not to run a particular course depending on the
number of candidates joined in it. A minimum of 50% of Sanctioned strength of seats for a
course should be filled in any course under self finance or payment streams to run the course.
ix Admissions into a course will not be conducted if minimum of five eligible candidates are not
present for admission counseling for that course.
x. All disputes whether regular or consumer courts pertaining to the admissions shall fall within
the courts Jurisdiction of Visakhapatnam only.
xi. Preference will be given to the candidates, who have secured rank in the entrance examination
GATE/PGECET/ICET, etc.,.
2. M.Tech. / M.Planning Evening Courses (for locally employed personnel)
(i) The M.Tech./ M.Planning Evening Courses are meant for eligible locally employed personnel.
(ii) Requirement for admission is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying
examination.
(iii) Admission into these courses shall be processed as per the merit order of the marks obtained
in the qualifying degree.
(iv) Separate application has to be submitted for courses in each department if the candidate is
desirous of applying for courses in more than one department based on the eligibility criteria.
3. How to Apply :
i) Candidates are required to down load the appropriate application form (Form-IV) and the
Information Brochure - IV from the website www.audoa.in

ii) A demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, A.U. Common Entrance Test & Admission
Account from any Nationalised Bank payable at Visakhapatnam for the amount as per the
details given below should be enclosed towards registration and Processing fee.
(a) Rs.1,000/- for M.Tech./ M.Planning (Evening Course for locally employed personnel)
separate application and DD for each Department - Form - IV
iii) Duly filled in application should accompany with attested copies of the following certificates.
(a) Pass certificate / Degree Provisional or Original Certificate of the qualifying examination.
(b) Marks statements of the qualifying examination.
(c) Transfer and Conduct Certificate from the institution where the candidate last studied.
(d) Date of birth certificate (S.S.C. or equivalent certificate).
(e) Study certificates for the last 7 Years of study or residence certificate in case of private
study.
(f) Integrated Community certificate issued by competent authority in case of SC/ST/BC
candidates.
(g) No objection and Service Certificates from the employers.
(h) Migration certificate for candidates from other universities.
( i) Demand Draft towards registration and processing fee.
IV) Office of the Directorate of Admissions is not responsible for the non-receipt of applications
sent by Post / Courier or late receipt of applications due to postal delay or for any reason what
so ever.
V) Incomplete applications are liable to be summarily rejected.
VI) Candidates have to pay the examination fee separately at the time of applying for
examination.
