Student Scripture Reflection (OT)

Choose any short passage (1-3 verses) from the Old Testament that you find to be
meaningful. At the bottom I have put some possibilities, but you are not limited to these.

With your short passage, do all of the following on a separate sheet of loose-leaf paper:

1. Copy the passage and cite the scripture reference. (1 pt)

2. Write a one-paragraph explanation of the meaning/message of the passage. What
is being communicated with these words? (3 pts)
3. Write a one-paragraph explanation of how the passage applies to your life, giving
at least one specific and concrete example. (3 pts)
4. Write a prayer that could be used in class that has a connection to your chosen
passage. This prayer must contain at least 25 words and no more than 50 words.
