It will improve the education system and will solve many problems in society. The development of a nation depends upon its education system, a better education system will lead to a better society and development, while illiteracy leads to ignorance and darkness. Implementing a uniform curriculum in Pakistan is a great move and it will give us a lot of benefits, but while implementing a uniform curriculum the government will also face many challenges. We need to discuss while introducing a uniform curriculum what changes will take place in our education system and the challenges we have to face. Justification: Why uniform curriculum? This is a very interesting question and the answer to the question is the problems we have in the current education system. There are many problems in the current education system like we are being taught outdated syllabus for year’s and nothing new has been introduced to the current curriculum and thus are far behind the other countries because they have courses which include modern researchers and up to date structure, while we are being taught Windows XP, floppy disk and things which are no more useful in this modern world of development. Apart from the outdated syllabus, there are also many problems like the problem of ideology difference, because of the different syllabus we fall for the problem of ideology difference. By introducing the uniform curriculum the problem of an ideology difference will vanish from the education system. The problem of ethnicity conflict will be vanished by introducing the uniform curriculum because in the current situation we fall for the problem of ethnic conflict. After all, the students have different mindsets and the difference in mindset is because of differences in the syllabus, one institute offers the curricular of Oxford and Cambridge while others provide low quality and outdated syllabus and this problem of ethnicity conflict will be vanished by introducing g new uniform curriculum. One of the noticeable benefits of introducing uniform curricula is important to discuss here, and that is it will provide equal opportunities for the students. What is meant by equal opportunity is that the mindset of all the students will be equal and they will have the same opportunities in their lives. The students will move in the same direction with equal opportunities. And the motive behind all this is to create a sustainable society (a society where everybody will be provided with equal opportunity and will give equal rights and respect. One thing that is important to discuss here thatt in the current education system where the curriculum is different in schools some students can’t afford expensive books and can’t get a quality education( which is their right) and thus can’t compete with other students who study quality syllabus from quality teachers in private schools. By introducing the new uniform curriculum will vanish this problem and the rich and poor will have the same quality of education. The government will also have to face many problems while introducing a uniform curriculum and some of them we will discuss below. The first problem we got while implementing the uniform curriculum in Pakistan is the problem of language medium( use of language) why this is a problem? Because in some schools the instruction medium is English while in some schools the communication medium is Urdu, so by introducing uniform curriculum will include new syllabus and some students will face the problem in understanding teachers. Poverty is another challenge, because if the books and uniform are expensive then some poor students will be unable to buy and this is a challenget in the way to improvement. Besides his we got the problem of a new syllabus which will be hard to grasp for those students who previously were in the low-quality education system and these students will have to face the challenge of comprehending the syllabus content. One of the challenges in the new move by the government is the capacity of teachers. Some teachers are not well qualified and if they are introduced to the new curriculum it will be a challenge for the teachers to teach the new syllabus. One of the most important things we need to discuss is that the reason for introducing the new uniform curriculum is to create a sustainable environment and to provide students with equal opportunities and also to improve the quality of education and to decrease the illiteracy rate for this the government must have to invest in education and enrol the students that are out of school and some people because of poverty can’t afford education so the dues must be reduced as much as possible so that the new illiterate can get an education. The government must build new schools and colleges in the rural areas of Pakistan and should encourage people to enrol their children in schools so that they can also get this beautiful opportunity of seeking knowledge. For this purpose, the government should invest in education more than anything else because that is how we will be able to compete with the modern world in the field of science, new researches and discoveries. Conclusion: The reason for all this what we have discussed above was to find that, whether the new upcoming uniform curriculum will be better or not. And the straightforward answer is yes. because it will provide many benefits for the students and some of them are, ideology consensus, unity in diversity, ethnicity, and ignorance will be vanished, and will also provide students with equal oppurtunitues. And will create a sustainable society. But in the way of improving the government will also have to face many problems like the problem of instruction medium, infrastructure ( not only syllabus but also the quality of teachers, schools, syllabus, the capacity of teachers, and out of school children but we have to bear in mind that while the way to develop and improve the challenges is always there, but if we want to compete with the modern world and want to be a role model for other nations then we have to face these challenges.
