How Short-Term Disability benefits are paid and coordinated with Family and Medical Leave
Every case is different, but here is an example of how Short-Term Disability (STD) benefits may work. Note that Family and Medical Leave (FML), if
applicable, runs at the same time as the waiting period and the time you are receiving STD benefits..

• You have worked for Comcast for more than three years.
• You have not previously used any STD benefits or Family and Medical Leave (FML) during the prior 52 weeks.

Short-term disability checklist
Filing for STD benefits is simple. You can call the claims administrator 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You need to provide documentation from your doctor
