Dear Sir,
Banking Business Hours to be implemented by Banks in Uttarakhand in view of present
Covid-19 pandemic situation
Vide Letter No. 131/USDMA/792(2020) dated 24" May, 2021. Uttarakhand Govt. has issued

guidelines for controlling spread of Covid-19.

Please refer Para "14 B" of guidelines issued by Uttarakhand Govt. for Banking hours from 25 May
2021 to 31s May, 2021
he Banking business hours in Branches will be from 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM
.
Staff strength in Administrative offices and Branches shall be curtailed by 50% by
adopting alternate day working / work from home etc. to minimize the risk of spread of

pandemic.
ii. Essential Banking Services to be provided as advised by 1BA during outbreak of Covid-19
pandemic last year vide its Circular dated 22 March, 2020. The Branches will undertake

following minimum services

(a) Cash deposit and Withdrawal.
(b) Clearing of Cheques.
(c) Remittances.
(d) Government Transactions.
Branches may provide any other services as deemed fit
Alternate Channels to remain open and function as usual. Back office Services viz.
iv.
Currency Chest, ATM Cash Loading Vendors, Offices in Data Centre, Data Recovery
Centre, ATM Back Offices, Service Branches, Clearing Houses, and Bank Treasury
Offices etc also to function as usual.
. Any order by the State / District Administration will supersede these instructions for the
State / that particular District.
The above suggestions will be in force from 25 May, 2021 to 31 May, 2021 or till further notice, if
any.
You are therefore requested to issue necessary instructions to all your offices/ Branches in the State
accordingly.
