Class Notes
Believe, recognize, and
understand your potential.
You know, deep down, that you have something
special and unique to give the world.

When you are surrounded by people who don’t believe in you, it’s that
much more important for you to believe in yourself. But here’s the thing.
There’s potential even in your pain.

Whatever you are working with, allow it to feed you. Allow it to propel
you forward.

I need you to realize three things:

1. You are not destined to do nothing.
2. You are not destined to do everything.
3. You are destined to do something completely unique to you.

You have immeasurable potential. You are a being full of talent, love,
and belief. There is a brilliant spark inside of you waiting to be
unleashed in the world. Listen to this spark, and don’t let anyone talk
you out of it.

Here’s how you can see your true potential:

• Practice feeling gratitude for yourself, every day.
• Take a moment to feel pride for every little bit of progress
you’ve made.
• Realize that you are always worth investing in.
Get to know yourself through
your passions.
If purpose is the adult, passion is the child,
and curiosity is the womb.

Do you know what makes you come alive?

As children it was easy for us to realize what we were passionate about. But
life has a way of making us forget.

What makes you feel curious?

Why do you think you feel passionate about these things?

Your passions matter. That “aha moment” you feel when you’re doing
something you truly love, when you’re doing something that feels good,
exciting, and effective all at the same time— that’s when you’re in your
element. That’s when your soul comes alive.

Listen to this feeling, and follow it. It’s going to lead you to your purpose.
Give your passions the space,
time, and energy to grow.
You decide whether your passions live or die.
When you ignore your passions, you will slowly kill them. In order to remember
who you really are, you have to weave what you love into your everyday life. This
is how you grow, bloom, and become something greater.

Your parents, your friends, and your co-workers are not going to do this for you.
There’s no hand-holding here. Your job is to create a life you enjoy, and only you
can do that for yourself.

You have to start living in a way you enjoy.

From the moment you wake up, you are presented with a choice. Will you
choose what makes you feel good, happy, and content? Or will you live someone
else’s life?

Nurturing your joy and passion can take place in small, simple doses. Every bit is
equally important.
• Do you need to meditate more? Make time for it.
• Does taking long walks bring you joy? Take one every day.
• Do you want to be a writer? Start writing.
• Do you want to meet more people? Put yourself out there.
• Do you feel compelled to start something new? Do it.

Do not wait for someone else to discover your joy for you. It will not happen. Do
not wait to be found. Nobody is coming.
Only you can create a life you love. Be your own greatest fan. Be your own
biggest cheerleader. What you bring to the world is your responsibility, and you
are the only one who can choose the right moments, experiences, actions,
hobbies, and decisions that will allow you to create your best life.

Consistency is the key.

Successful people are not smarter or better.
They are persistent.
Most people are very, very close to what they want. It doesn’t
seem like it, but it’s true.

So, what makes the difference between succeeding and failing?

It’s consistency.

Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of

persistence and consistency.

Just keep trying, every single day— working, believing, hoping,

loving, and never giving up.

• Keep your mind, life, and possibilities OPEN.

• Be okay with trying things that are new and RANDOM.
• Find people to surround you who are SUPPORTIVE.
Service is the heart of all purpose.
Do what you can, where you are, with what
you have to serve the world.
A student once approached their teacher. They said, “I have one hundred
dollars. I want to give it to charity. Should I give it all to one person, or
should I give one dollar to a hundred people?”

The teacher said, “You should give 1 dollar each to a hundred people.”

“Why?” asked the student.

“Because you will be able to practice giving love one hundred times.”

What’s a pain you wish to solve in the world? What do you see going on
that you wish to fix?

Whatever you desire to heal exists at the heart of your purpose. And it is
your job to serve in any way you can.

Remember this: you are not responsible for creating something large and
dramatic and impossible all at once. Your job is to do something, where
you are, with what you have, in a way that is thoughtful and gracious.

Take a bunch of your love and give it away in small, meaningful, beautiful
increments. Believe in yourself and your ability to create change.

This is all that matters. Your small efforts will add up to create big
healing within the collective.
Money is energy.
Knowing you deserve money is not greed. It’s
a form of self-awareness.
When you see yourself clearly, you will realize you deserve all good forms of
energy— physical, mental, emotional, spiritual. This includes money.

Money is a form of energy that is essential to live without struggle. It’s

something to be respected, used for good, and not wasted.

When you receive, thank the universe.

When you give, thank the universe.
When you provide, thank the universe.
When you grow, thank the universe.

Purify your relationship with money— it is not something to be idolized nor

disregarded.

When you serve the world with pure intentions, abundance will flow to you.
Take these words with you
wherever you go.
